Owned Mustangs since I moved to the US 12 years ago. Finally chopped it for a GTI the other week. The abysmal build quality and awful gas mileage finally got to me. With mustangs, you buy the engine and get a free car. Still huge fan, just don’t want to own one anymore LOL. Cool, if pricey, to have one in the UK though.

Yeah I definitely didn't buy the Mustang for build quality in general it is a ford 😂 I've owned BMW's and mercedes and VW's prior and it is a step backwards in terms of tech and robustness. However it hasn't done anything wrong as yet on my part so can't fault it. It was definitely bought for the sound and presence it gives over here in the UK. Enjoy the GTI awesome great fun cars.. love a hot hatch!

im interested to know about the front parking sensors never seen one with them, install, brand ect..

I used a local company for the parking sensors. You can see the switch glowing green by the steering wheel (can turn them off if needed then) although there set up nicely so never had too. They only engage in first gear (mine being a manual) and you can adjust the sensitivity and volume to your liking. He got them colour matched for me so they blend in. Can't remember the make unfortunately but was a godsend for the wife at first but now she's used to the length of the bonnet. Wasn't too expensive at £350 ISH including paint fitted on my drive.

What are the tailpipes? Do they just pop onto the original tips? I have the same car, bought around the same time, with almost exactly the same mileage!
