The Ford Mustang Mach-E brought the Mustang brand to the world of all electric crossovers. An interesting move and certainly met with a bit of resistance and controversy, including from myself. After spending some time with a regular level Mustang Mach-E I was not in love, but after spending some time in the GT AWD Performance Edition trim...has my mind changed? With 480 horsepower and 634 lb-ft of torque, the GT Performance is the quickest of the Mach-E models doing 0-60 in 3.5s. You also get magnetic ride suspension and upgraded brakes, plus much more aggressive styling! The Mach-E GT is a really fun daily driver and looks great on the road. It's definitely not supposed to replace the 5.0 in the garage but for people out there who need a backseat and a hatch, the Mach-E is a good EV option.

I have the Mach GT performance and love it. I wish they would have just gone with “Mach e” and retained the Mustang inspired styling. As expected, it is instantly responsive and very zippy. The maglev suspension is comfortable. The menu and other UI features leave a bit to be desired. I hope Ford fixes some of these in updates…such as a global charge limit, instead of requiring each charge location to be programmed separately.

@@EddieXI believe there was a Blue Cruise update that allows it to change lanes (haven’t noticed a thing). The upcoming update is to improve Alexa and KZbin performance and I don’t really care.

@@bdolcourt hmm I hope they do more! I thought I read somewhere while I was researching for this video that there was also an update that added slightly more battery range. unless that was a model year change.

I have the 23 Mach-E GT Performance, and is the very best vehicle I've owned, I'm 59. Got the first OTA which is just the setup for more to come. Jim Farley has this and the Lightning very much on the front burner, in fact, he just held a round table with both enthusiasts and detractors for honest suggestions after having done a road trip with his son and experienced first hand the charging woes the community has been talking about for years now. Among the suggestions was pet mode, carwash mode, I hope they also asked about sentry mode. They were all very impressed with Jim and his people also asked them to follow up with any others after the fact, which they did and received confirmation of delivery to Jim Farley's desk. While there, the group was witness to Jim Farley presenting Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson his latest Raptor he's so fond of gifting to people, just because. I am very very excited for this tiny beasts future.

This is a cool car for a guy just like u who owns a Shelby and u need a car for the days u can’t or don’t want to drive the sports car. U drive this theoretically to work or to run errands and on the weekends hop in the I.C.E Mustang and tear up your favorite back roads

I don’t think this trucks made to replace your V8 GT or Shelby this is made to drive for days u can’t drive the I.C.E Mustang when u got take the family someplace or a rainy day u don’t want drive the V8 car to work etc. it’s at least in my opinion to complete your Mustang lifestyle by giving u a all around Mustang to use when u don’t want drive the regular Mustang

The Mach E was given the mustang name for 2 reasons. First ford didn’t know if it would catch on. Secondly it improved the emissions record for the mustang brand. It’s a good looking vehicle. The S650 version of the mustang has a few things that brought its looks closer to a Mach E. The rear and the dashboard on the S650 mustang are closer to that of the Mach E. The Mach E is a big seller for Ford. It no longer requires the mustang name.

To all mach e haters.....My Mach E GT Perf Ed, people always ask ( no ford emblems outside of car)"what kind of car is that? "... I say A FAST ONE ! 3.5 seconds 0-60, AWD, no wheel hop, no oil changes, almost zero maintenance cost and no gas! ha ha

Actually it says Ford at the top center of the windshield. 0-60 is nice. 60-100 not so much.

Tesla superior is supercharger network, Tesla is faster, Tesla has much better Ranger, Tesla has over the top better updates, teslas are cooler, Tesla has better auto pilot. Nuff said.

I've had a Tesla S and X and now have a Mach-E GT Performance. While the software interface and performance on the Teslas is better, the fit and finish on the Mach-E is FAR superior to Tesla. Not even in the same class. And customer service isn't even comparable. I'm a big Elon fan and am rooting for Tesla, but I'm not in any hurry to get another one.

360 camera view, better looking, screen in front of the driver, actual one-pedal driving, uses a key fob, Android Auto and Apple Carplay, hand adjustable vents, tires wider than the wheels,....
