I got a set of those for mine but wired them up so as soon as the key goes in the ignition they come on and stay on. No turning your headlights on for them to work! They go off after 30 seconds after you take the key out of the ignition. The are awesome!!

I installed them but they gave me problems with the one-sided position lights. It did not turn on. neither the ones in the back position were turned on, and finally the allogens stopped working. Do you know what is due? Can you help with a connection tutorial regarding the electrical system? Greetings from Ecuador. Ranger xls 4x4 diesel T6 double cabin.

Hi Pal, After some advice. You seem to have done a few mods to the ranger. I have a new XLS and I wanted to take the front number plate off today to fit a number plate/nudge bracket for a lightbar. When I tried to undo one of the screws I heard a snapping sound and now the number plate screw just spins. I felt inside the front lower grill and it appears that the number plate "housing" is inside the actual grill. any suggestions on how I can take the lower grill. Not the actual grill but the actual faring, on the XLS it's a mid grey colour. Any help is appreciated.

That is all they are, the new one has them in a trench in a plastic part so they are brighter rather then being glued over like the gen 1 ones.
