If you've got shop air, a Schrader valve installs well on the fill cap to that pump. Saves loads of hand pumping. I have the same one and have used it to do diffs and transfer case as well. Works great. Ford's service intervals for fluids is quite... optimistic. 100k KMs and they were all basically black. Was surprised the front diff was so dark considering how rarely it's ever loaded.

Once again - very clear, simple and informative video - in my opinion you are doing the best videos for home mechanic

I’ve got a 3.2 with 110k miles on it now, guessing the fluid has never been changed. Gonna do mine after watching this, hopefully it improves my first and second gear feel as currently it can only be described as awful 🤣

On top of the gear box there near the bleeder connector there is an opening that looks like it wants a rubber hose connected to it. Does it require something or is it a breather?

Hey brother, I reckon that weight oil for gear box is incorrect, should be using straight 75w but see how goes 😉
