Were did you find the led bulb. I was told they would not work with out doing some wiring so they don't pulse.

The bulb in the description will work. I had to go to the parts store and get a digital flasher unit to make them work.

Did those led bulbs work fine for the turn signal? The amazon description said no turn signal.

They worked for the turn signal. I found out after the fact that the previous owner had put a digital turn signal flasher in the truck which allowed them to work. I looked and the flasher was only $10 at the parts store.

On Amazon is says that the conventional 3157 is not compatible with my 2009 ranger. Is that correct?

3157 will work. It calls for 4157 and here is the difference in the bulbs. The 3157 and 4157 are different only in their longevity. The 4000 series is a new bulb containing Krypton gases and apparently have up to 4 times the longevity of the 3000 equivalents. So a 3157 will work fine.

Did you have any issues with hyper flash using the LED’s?

Yes. I fixed that by going to the parts store and getting a digital flasher. The one I got had a ground post on top so I ran a wire to the ground screw on the drivers side kick panel. If you ask for a flasher for led bulbs they can show you which one. It was like 10 bucks.

On my 2010 Ranger, whoever put those two screws in on the inside of the tailgate, must have been mad at their wife that day. I swear, they must have torqued them down at 90 pounds.

Yea. I've had other stuff thats either way too tight or just flat out loose. Lol

@@DMoneyGarage I think maybe soaking it with WD 40 and letting it sit for a while. I would really HATE to take it to the dealership, for what should be a simple fix.
