Ford Ranger fault code P0341:62

Ford ranger showing P0341 camshaft position sensor A circuit range/performance. we replaced the cam sensor because that was the cheap option just to check. Then we check the timing and then timing chain was stretch. Timing tensioner was fully open. replaced the timing chain with all other new parts and good to go.

Hello I am facing the same problem p0341:62 in my 2.2 transit vehicle the engine warning light is flashing Like a flashing Like a flashlight Hoş did your engine warning light come on in case of camshaft failure in your çar?

Hi there thanks for watching my video, yes the engine light was came on and the vehicle goes into limp mode. we replace brand new 2 camshaft sensors but didn't work. Then we use the oscilloscope and found timing is out. Hope you fix your vehicle

i have found the same fault code on an transit 2.2,so i changed the camshaft sensor with a Delphi new one but i was getting the same fault code,after that i checked the timing chain and it was ok,so i have ordered an original camshaft sensor and with this one the fault has gone

I have a Ranger that keeps getting a code p0341-62. It starts good and runs good till 2000rpm. At that rpm it limp modes with cam shaft code. I changed it with 2 originals Ford sensor still faults. Any ideas?

Hi first check the wiring from the ecu to sensor, if you have oscilloscope handy then its easy to check the timing and then you will know the chain is bad or not. Cheers
