Ford Ranger in India | Nepal🇳🇵to India 🇮🇳 on a 2017 Ford Ranger Pick-up Truck

Short video showing the 2017 Ford Ranger driven all the way from Nepal for a late winter Spiti trip by our friend Ateet from Kathmandu, Nepal . He runs an adventure tourism company and a Cafe by the name of Genesis. The team from Nepal was accompanied by my friend Jaskaran Sarao from 4x4Crew_ , it is the inaugural year for his Mud-Hut Homestay - PitiJalsa in Kaza, an amazing option to stay if you are planning on going towards Spiti this May onwards.
The Vehicle is a 2017 Ford Ranger with a 5cyl - 3200cc diesel engine and a 6speed manual transmission, a combination we didn’t get in the Indian Endeavour. 2” Ironman Foamcell Pro lift with almost 32” (265/75/16) Maxxis Razr MT tires and an Ironman4x4 snorkel.
Wish FoMoCo had brought these in India as well.
Felt bigger than the Hilux and Isuzu Vcross for sure.

It’s same dimensions as Indian d-max only couple of inches longer than d-max. But overall product is not so massive It’s not f-150 or ram 1500. These trucks are full size nowhere to be found in even are neighbour countries.

Hello sir it’s weird that you think the cabin feels more spacious than the D-Max but the overall width of the both ranger and D- MAX are same rated at 1860 MM. also the dashboard design and layout of this ranger is completely different from Indian endeavor.

That’s the exact reason I mentioned it, I believe in seeing a vehicle for the actual feel rather than going by figures on paper, inspite of being similar in width, the way a design pans out in 3d makes a lot of difference in the feel of an enclosed space. Spacious merely doesn’t mean more length or width externally, it also has a direct link with the seat backrest angle, width of door moulding and arm rests and the glass size of windows. Sometimes a vehicle bigger on paper still feels claustrophobic. That’s why I never try to go by mere figures. The dash layouts and materials are completely different as you said :)
