Ford Ranger Raptor review | Why I'd have it over the Amarok!

I own one, I have been always into sport, smalls cars, I still love it, and I do also own a hot hatch, but man, Raptor, it's just so comfy and practical, city life is not ideal, but all the rest is amazing, I love mine! 😌

I'm guessing you like the Raptor? What's it like getting into supermarket parking spaces? Where do you put the shopping? Is it really a big toy that we don't really need? (I'm asking these questions on behalf of my wife because she is the practical one in our relationship and who loves her Skoda CitiGo).

It’s long for parking spaces Most probably do not need it Does it make life more interesting? I think so.

The measuring tape is there on the Raptor it's covered with a rubberized cover due to the roll top. Not usable really, you can lift up the edge a little bit, and you will see it.

In most other markets, the Ranger Raptor produces 392hp and 583Nm. The US / Canada market is up to 405hp! The 288hp Raptor is also available in Israel, Chile, Colombia and Singapore.

Amarok is the same as the standard Ranger, the Raptor is completely different.

Version I’ve reviewed was the highest spec, similar price and also a 3.0L. It’s not like comparing an entry level VW and a Raptor.

Unfortunately just cannot trust them, my 2020 (202 Reg) after 96,000km of purely motorway driving (no trailer) the gear box went, ford just about stood over the warranty as it had 106,000km before they checked and carried out investigation work as ford warranty and service must clear all with Ford UK. Great drive, great comfort, and the twin turbo engine was brilliant, but same reliability with ford, just poor….. Toyota GR all the way Nobby….
