I'm a Ford guy till I die, but man both of these trucks are just amazing. I use to think the 500hp SRT 10 Ram was so cool and they still are! But to see big ass trucks with 35-37 inch tires with 2 of the most badass engines is just insane. Obviously i'd take the R anyday, but you can't take anything away from theTRX no matter how loyal to your brand. Gorgeous mavhines right here.

I think both trucks look awesome in the wide body configuration. Now that both have the V8 engine, it is a win. I bought the TRX as the interior just sold it for me. Ram should have made the 37’s an option from factory; along with, a stage kit.

The TRX gearing is designed for 18 inch stock wheels for best performance. Stock wheels: I get 3.7 0-60 all day. Occasionally 3.5. After market wheel, can’t get below 4.4 seconds

If I may throw my two cents in… The Stellantis TRX puts more eggs in the “look at/listen to me” basket. The Ford RaptoR puts it’s eggs in the functionality basket. FYI, a V6 Raptor is faster around a twisty dirt track than a TRX.

Less weight = more horsepower. The difference between the Raptor R and the GT 500 is WEIGHT. Hence the HP difference. The Ford is cheap chincy plastic interior with cloth seats. For the price point not worth it.

The TRX engine dyno dominates the R by a good margine. Ford made up for that with gearing and weight. Hence beds easy to bend. So, good and bad. The R def has the advantage on Baja suspension. Is where i hope the extra coin comes from in the price. The Hellcat had been proven to take more abuse and reliable. For the money spent on an R. You can easily drop 3:92 gears and better baja suspension and have a truck w a better engine and interior w better looks

The RAM TRX's are actually made very well and last if you keep them stock. I have a couple buddies who literally use them as work trucks for their businesses with over 80k miles on them with zero issues. Now occasionally like any car (including Ford), there are some that have a bad/defective part here and there. But for the most part, the TRX's are very solid.
