Just curious if you knew about usingTR3 for RR most jobs I can panel paint with it and if I’m blending I use it 99 percent of the time and it always turns out beautiful

I definitely do but I always find it lacks the depth a lot of them have. This RR is so simple I don’t mind spraying it three stage!

Does two full coats of the clear effect the appearance between your front blend door and the rear door?
@olie_olie_paintz11 ай бұрын
I’ve had that issue one time. Out of the hundreds if not thousands of jobs. It was a coarse silver and a clear I wasn’t very familiar with. Two coats usually doesn’t cause any swimming pool effect. More coats or super thick thick clear could but for my system I don’t have any issues.

So I’ve seen people use the clear base but they don’t let it dry. Whats better? Does it matter?
@olie_olie_paintz11 ай бұрын
I don’t like blending into it wet these days. It floats metallics and can actually make it harder to get a clean blend. I like to get it started drying before spraying color. Doesn’t have to be fully fully dry but not wet enough metallic will float around in it.
