Ford S-max 2007 2.0 TDCi tacho dashoboard exchange - Maxidot to Convers+. Also applicable for Ford Mondeo mk4, Galaxy. Swap was performed because of not working MaxiDot display.

Hello! I'll probably buy a Convers+ dashboard, I found it not expensive. The question is, what diagnostic equipment will I be able to synchronize the panel with my climate system? I can edit the odometer readings using my scanner, but the rest.

If you´ll find dashboard with smaller meleage than your original dash you can use Fosrcan (free extended version) with this: www.aliexpress.com/item/1642318181.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.21efa396rYYxTi (I have USB with FTDI chip version). If you have bigger mileage you have to find somebody who can do it. I did not any synchronisation of climate panel with dashboard - it was just plug and play.

And which software are you using? Try forscan from forscan.org. There is an option to activate extended version where you can read and write data in car units.

Hello Konstantin, is climatic panel working with old dashboard? The new one could be broken and it disable the climatic panel. I would recommend to try another or old dashboard to eliminate or confirm failure in new dashboard.

@@Placekmich Yes, I got my dashboard back. However, I soldered the processor and everything got better, for a short time. The climate system works with the old panel, no problem. Have you sold your old dashboard? Maybe I could buy?

@@konstantinsavchenko2622 I had the same Idea to solder socket on the board but unfortunately during assembly back I broke the LCD completely (and problem with half working LCD was not repaired anyway). So I have no spare dashboard. I am sorry. Try some local scrapyard to find some convers dashboard. Sometimes you will find really cheap ones as I did. Cheaper than repair of old ones.

Do you need to code the new cluster? I have heard car wont start if you buy new cluster and dont code that because car has immobilize in the cluster??

You don't need to code immobiliser, data are not stored in the dashboard. You heard probably about wv cars.

If you have facelift version of the Ford S-max you have to search for dashboard panel from the facelift version. Pre-facelift and facelift instrumental panel are not compatible without modification of the panel.

Hi, just plug in... Diagnostic was used only for KM adjustment and then for special functions.

I adjusted kilometers via Forscan extended licence. But program can adjust km onlu upwards.

Ahoj, koukal jsem na výměnu těch budíků. Mám galaxy 2008 a jak tady v komentářích píšeš, tak je to jen o výměně. Jde mi ještě o tu češtinu a rozšířené funkce. Výš o nějaké skupině nebo nějaký odkaz, kde se to dá takto koupit? Nebo to zkusím jinak. Kdyby jsem si na ebay sehnal budíky, dokážeš to za "mírnou" úplatu počeštit a srovnat kilometry, popřípadě i ty rozšířené funkce? Díky Martin

Kilometry jsem upravoval přes forscan, je zdarma, ale kilometry jdou upravovat jen směrem nahoru. Funkce mi upravoval přímo v autě, dojel jsem do Slaného. Myslím že funguje kolem Prahy...

No error. I think that you will get airbag error message only when you combine face-lift tacho and pre-facelift car.

The airbag error will appear only when you change pre-facelift dashboard for facelift one. So if you change the dashboard for correct one the error should disappear. Or you can try somebody who is able to code facelift dashboard to pre-facelift car.

Hi, if you have facelift version of car, you have to search for facelift version of the dashboard. It will work. You cannot combine pre-facelift dashboard on the facelift car.

Hi, I saw your videos of changing Maxidot odometer to Convers+. I have few questions, I have Ford Mondeo Mk4 2010, 1997 cm³, 103kW, diesel automatic gearbox version. But it has same old odometer like you replaced and It doesn't show real-time car running speed in digital format, which is the only reason I am thinking of upgrading it with Convers+. Can you tell me that after replacing I would be able to see real-time car speed in digital number? 2nd question is regarding Bluetooth, my car doesn't have a Bluetooth for mobile, can I enable Bluetooth by installing Bluetooth module CS7T-14D212-AG ?

Hi, digital speed is additional function which was activated by local programmer. Original convers dashboard this functionality don't have. Regarding bt module, it depend which radio unit you have. If supports bt streaming or not and it also depends if you have cables prepared for bt module.

Hi, on my other video with Ford Mondeo it is visible. The Part number is 8M2T-10849-VC. But you can use every dahboard Convers+ and it should work. Only thing you need to keep is pre facelift version for prefacelift car and facelift dashboard for facelift car.

There should not be any problem. The procedure is the same. It is just plug and play. Only mileage has to be adjusted according to original value.

Hi, I cannot say what is causing that. Did you tried disconnect the radio unit if it is help? Or try to adjust dashboard light with knob next to light switch.

Hi, only kilometers are needed to adjust. No other modding is needed. Airbags light warning appears when face-lift dashboard is installed to pre-facelift car.

PreFace-lift dashboard has silver frame and analog arow for fuel, there more differences, try Google pictures... Extended licence for forscan is free for one month and could be extended.

Yes, but access on them you have to uncover upper side of steering wheel cover which is held by another 2 screws. For ford Mondeo it is easier because upper cover is not held by screws.

Hi, no physical modifications are needed. Just replace maxidot / halfdot dashboard for the convers. Only mileage has to be adjusted accordit your old dash. And yes it will work also for your s-max 2007.

Hi, no it isn't. In the dashboard there is no immo or similar things. It has nothing to do with keys or starting. For mondeo mk4 or s-max mk1 you can change dashboard without any problems.

Yes, on the s-max it's more difficult due to top steering shaft cover - there are two hidden screws which aren't in the Mondeo.

Yes, but for pre-facelift you need pre-facelift dashboard. Face-lift dashboard and pre-facelift dash is not compatible.

Unfortunately, the 2006 modell S-Max up to nov-06, I remember correctly, does not support the Converse cluster. The firmware in the GEM module is too old. I don't know if it can be updated, but someone said it couldn't.

Ahoj, mám galaxy 2008 a úplně stejné budíky jako vyndáváš na videu. Protože se mi asi měsíc různě zasekávají ručičky , nebo různě se i přetáčejí, pokusil jsem se v nich dle návodů na youtubu přepájet co šlo. 3 dny to fungovalo a už je všechno zase špatně. Uvažuji, že místo opravy u někoho, raději koupím convers +. Opravdu to stačí jen vyměnit? Dal bys mi nějakou radu? Díky za případné info. Ať se daří.

Ahoj, ano opravdu je to jenom o výměně kus za kus. Je potřeba si dát pozor akorát na kilometry - pokud mají nové budíky míň než stávající na autě, jde to nastavit přes rozšířenou licenci Forscan, která je zdarma a levnou diag z číny. Pokud mají najeto víc, už to bude muset udělat někdo, kdo ví co a jak a má potřebné vybavení. Dále je asi potřeba zjišťovat, zda budíky nemají uloženou bouračku v sobě (to já jsem popravdě neřešil, protože mě to nenapadlo, ale někdo to tady zmiňuje v komentářích) - pak bys musel údajně vymazat crash data a to si nejsem jistý jestli jde přes Forscan. Jinak na fcb skupině prodávají budíky už s rozšířenýma funkcema a nahraným cz jazykem včetně nastavených km, ale stojí víc než se dají sehnat na vrakáčích a tak, ale zase je tam určitá záruka že budou fungovat. Tak držím palce ať se zadaří.

Ahoj, chci se zeptat na S max 2008 mám problémy s budíky už jsem měnil asi 3 a chvili jdou teď rafičky pak zase ne, tak jsem koupil právě dnes ty barevné Convers+ už, ale po zapojení se zase odpojují a připojují furtr dokola, je mozné, ze to bude někde v káblech nebo mám takovou smůlu, že všechny budiky co koupím jsou ko. děkuji

Ahoj, upřímně pokud už jsi vyzkoušel několik různých budíků, a chyba se opakuje, hledal bych chybu jinde. Další možností je vyzkoušet koupené budíky u někoho, kdo nemá problém (třeba v Mondeu, kde je k budíků jednodušší přístup).
