Thank you so much ! This worked ! My radio button for my 2013 F-150 wouldn’t turn on or off when prompted. I made sure the engine was off first. I looked for fuse # 2 (sync module) unplugged the fuse for 15/30 seconds then plugged back in. Waited about a minute, started truck, waited for sync to update. Then I pressed the power button on my display and the radio started working again! Thanks !

Sure wish I hadn't done a Master Reset prior to seeing this. The MR didn't solve the issue. And although my manual differed from yours, your instructions worked beautifully. Thanks so much!

OMG i have had this problem like every year on my 13 hybrid and every year ford does some reset and all sorts of things - 18 months ago they replaced the sync and radi and yesterday it happened again. Did exactly what you said and AMAZING it is fixed. It just like worked immediately. Not sure how long til it breaks again but to know it is fixed without hours and days of Ford having no idea. thank you thank you thank you.

I have a 2015 Ford Transit Connect and it worked great. I also have the Sync system so I also pulled #67 fuse, just in case (along with the one that you illustrated). After about an hour everything reset to the way it was before, in working order. I had viewed a 'quick fix' video before I saw yours and the person actually changed out the entire audio system 😅. And he actually called that the quick fix. More like 'Costly fix'.

This has saved me!!!! The Entertainment System in my 2015 Focus Titanium read "Unavailable" and nothing could work until I saw this Fuse stuff! Passenger Kick Fuse Compartment (#79 - 15A; - count two from right move to the third fuse up). I simply took out the fuse and felt it looked burnt. replaced it with another 15A fuse, kicked my engine on and Voila!!!!!!

IT WORKS 2023 Well it might be 2 years later .. But i just did it .. and it did not work .. try it 2 times ,, and still no luck .. so i pulled the 7,5 sync fuse ( in place 67th ) and the 79 replaced them both with new one´s and now it works .. THANK :) you savede me a lot of money :) Ford focus 2015 Denmark So to all the ppl it did not work for ...buy 2 new fuses and change them .. :)

This solved the issue my 2012 Escape had with not being able to do bluetooth audio so I could listen to apple maps over the radio. Had tried everything before and got no where. No one not Ford or Apple had the answer to correct this.

Thanks so much. Haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it's the fix.. After getting some work done on my focus, Im faced with this problem and auto window feature off. I fixed the window. if you haven't you should do a video on that. It took me a while to find a half decent video, then understand the process.

This same thing happened to my 2014 Ford Edge Titanium 2 days ago. I tried your fix but didn't work so I took my car to Ford dealership. The cost to fix it was $354 parts + $560 labor = $914 YIKES!!! The problem is the ACM (Audio Control Module) which is mounted behind the radio button panel. It is basically the radio but is now a programmable module that needs a scan tool with th eproper software to program the ACM to the vehicle. It is not powering up which is why the display does not change and the voice commands do not work. All the speakers are controlled by the ACM.

Hey radio would not turn on. So as directed I did Pull #79 fuse for 10 minutes & Reinserted fuse and it worked Radio system reset & it fixed problem

ONLY REMEDIES THE PROBLEM FOR A FEW MONTHS. My wife has been dealing with this for a couple years. Latest event, this has happened twice in 3 months (winter in NE Ohio). The problem is with the FCIM (Front Control Interface Module).

Hoping this works. Dealership tried telling me a couple years ago that the stereo was fried and needed replaced to the tune of $1500. When at that time it was actually a $500 battery that needed replaced, afterwards the stereo worked fine..... until this evening. Odd thing is I can still use the Bluetooth to play music over the car speakers even tho it WON'T do phone calls over the speakers and hasn't for nearly a year

I’m having the same issue. I have a 2014 Ford Flex and I followed his instructions. It didn’t work. Now it won’t even allow me to select AM or FM. It allows me to choose Sirius Radio (not subscribed), A/V In, or Bluetooth. Even if I select Bluetooth you can’t hear anything. Has anyone found a solution to this?

I've had frequent issues of my Bluetooth audio not connecting I popped the lid covering the CD player up, unplugged all the cables and plug them back in and it's fixed it every time except for now. It is so strange my phone connects fine as a phone but not for Bluetooth audio. I tried connecting another device with no luck. I'd even master reset the whole head unit and it just caused another problem. I can't get my temperature to read in Fahrenheit anymore. When I go to settings and tap the option it won't change. It's just stuck in Celsius. No idea what's wrong or how to fix it

@@dallasengland2525 I forgot to come back and repost but ended up shutting my car off that day for 10 minutes and came back and everything was fine. I think if you just turn the car off and on the radio doesn't totally discharge or something. But if you shut your car off for longer that solves it

No need to deal with the fuse panel, it's a real hassle in my truck. Just disconnect the positive battery cable from the battery and wait about a minute. Same thing as pulling the fuse just easier.
