With the amount of damage on this one, I thought for sure it would get the Mad Max treatment. I'm glad you chose to restore it instead; it was well worth the effort.👍 The grille and bumpers were clever fixes but that door looks fantastic. Even as you were filing it, I wasn't convinced it would look right but you did a great job there Danny.👌 Lovely paint job too and the alloys finish it off perfectly. Shabby to Shiny, or something similar. 😁 Cheers for now, Dougie.

I noticed you did not provide for rear license plate. Here in the U.S. if your state only requires one plate it would be on the rear end. A possible detail to add could have been a carefully cut screen door patch to recreate the grill. I would have liked to have seen the door handles shaped like the original, or if made flush to be painted as if a Kindig style handle. Still, all in all, you rescued a casting I wouldn't have tried to and taught me techniques that I would never have imagined! What would've been tossed by most is now treasured by your viewers!!! Thanks for showing us how!!! Continue having fun with your toys.
