Yeah I got it up the butt taking mine to the dealer for this surgery on my 2013 Taurus. It ending up costing over 16 hundred bucks with the fuel pump driver replaced as well. . But this is ridiculous. Why can't ford just use 4 allen bolts instead of that crappy ass lock ring that freezes on to the cars' body?

I dont know how many times i see people struggling with that ring, I shake my head every time lol. Buy the OTC fuel lock ring remover and a long breaker bar, Ill have it off in one second 😅

They actually did if u rewatch the had a wire holding it up while they installed pump and before dropping pump all the way down he reaches in and hooks it up then pulls wire off that was holding it up
