After watching your video. It came in handy especially removing the EGR. Of everything thing involved with our 2006. Now to pulling the heater hoses and replacing the heater core. Wish me luck.

Working on a 2006 taurus taken apart by someone else. I was happy to find EGR sensor location @ 12:38. EGR sensor doesn't secure to anything just sits on top of the silicone hose stubs. Thanks for the help.

If you replace your gaskets before cleaning the old gasket of cover the intake ports so debris and old gasket doesn't fall in .Use shop rags , towel or plastic bags....

I had a mechanic tell me he won’t do it anymore because he’s afraid of breaking bolts in the engine??? Idk but is this truly a DIY job because I’ll try anything to save money & I really need my car 😭

Well I was leaking oil around the valve covers so I knew it was time. And I figure I'd change the intake manifold gaskets as well lower and upper.
