Ford Transit Custom MK8 Wheel bearing replacement

In this video I show you the steps I took to replace the wheel bearing on a 2014 Ford Transit Custom. A qualified mechanic with all the necessary tools would do this job quicker and more efficient than a driveway enthusiast like myself, so please don't take this guide as an instructions manual.

Couldn't you have half screwed 13mm bolts back in, then put wheel back on, and when u tighten bolts, would have pulled bearing away while assembled on van? Just thought of that as that's the trick you used to separate bearing and disks, which I used to do mine 👍

I dont think those bolts are long enouhg for that trick to work.

Are napa hub bearings any good

Here is the link to the one I bought. I was very suspicious about it considering it is much cheaper than what you find at the autoparts store lige GSF. I don't have a workshop manual. I looked online for torque specs and foumd diffetent values on different forums and dont want to give anybody wrong information.

Good video, but why not just use the gun to undo it?

The gun is not powerfull enough. I tried.
