Great video! Going to check out that skid plate. Any special tips on swapping to that Raptor style front grill? Looks like there’s the camera and washing nozzle?

It’s a pretty easy swap. A step drill bit works well for the camera cutout and the washer. A dremmel tool to make the washer hole more of a square hole is ideal.

I have a 2019 with a Quigley 4x4 up front. Will this skid plate fit?

Nice job. Is there access for the oil filter? I think I see one but hard to tell.

Yes! Just remove a few bolts and an access plate pops out for easy oil changes.

Thanks for the install DIY! I would be concerned bout air restriction for the intercooler/radiator. What do you know about that? Also, which power ratchet is that? An essential piece of equipment.

There is actually more airflow than with the stock plastic piece that gets removed. The ratchet is a Milwaukee 12v. Probably one of the most used tools in our shop!

I'm a future customer and like the engine and ten speed a lot on the Transit but the low clearance even w the Trail option, is so disappointing. The undercarriage is not as clean as the MB Sprinter so im struggling with the two choices... i have comparison measurements for the clearance touch points underneath and what i found spooked me. Id like to hear more about your underside protection issues and how you solve for it. The small lifts dont appear to help enough compared to the MB stock clearance. Another example beyond what you experienced in the front is the exhaust and mufflers are hanging lower and exposed on the Ford. Any advice would be appreciated greatly.
