Ford Truck: Secondary Cooling system Low - P026A intercooler Internal Leak! 2011-2016

Today in the shop we have a 2015 Ford F350 6.7L Diesel. the customer stated that the check engine light is on and that he had to add Antifreeze.
Initial code scan reveled a P026A Charge Air Cooler Efficiency bellow threshold. Follow along as we dig deeper and uncover the root cause for both the loss of coolant and the P026A. and more! Hope you enjoy

Great video. I am doing an intercooler on my neighbors 2016 f350 this weekend. It's leaking coolant same way. And he keeps topping off the secondary reservoir.

It's frustrating not being able to find the leak. Have you checked inside the cooler for signs of coolant?

I have the same problem in my f250. Ford is telling me that I will also have to replace the secondary water pump because that is usually the main cause of the coolant leak. Do you agree with them.

You will pull coolant in to the engine causing internal damage ,anti freeze and oil do not mix

What if driven for 2 days but now it’s parked and tearing out the inner cooler do you think 2 days of driving just locally will the engine or turbo will be ok or too late any info will be grateful
