I love my Ancel DS300, which I got from your recommendation. The FCA subscription😡 and DS300 fixed my issue with the Jeep. Have a great weekend, Jimmy.

I believe those are one time use torque to yield fuel pump bolts
@JimmyMakingitwork3 күн бұрын
Yeah, on Fords about 95% of the bolts on the entire vehicle are one time use. Even subframe and larger bolts.

The school I'm going to doesn't have any Diesel classes, what happens if a mechanic gets assigned a diesel job, can they refuse it and give it to another mechanic? Is it going to be harder to find a job if you don't know anything about them? Just curious.
@JimmyMakingitwork3 күн бұрын
At our shop the guys refuse lots of work and it usually ends up in my bay. I make it work. But yes those guys refuse it, or say they aren’t comfortable doing it and it goes to someone else.

You're exactly right car companies only care about fed gvt mandates and profit..but don't forgetost people who drive care about style and they will pay 53000 for a 1.5 turbo small suv..with a cheap cvt.😅

Haha so true Steve!

Steve I have tried to explain that to my mechanic husband for years. For a large number of people, the vehicle just has to look "pretty"

Hey Jimmy, when a driver activates his turn signal after changing lanes, is that to let you know where they've been?
@JimmyMakingitwork3 күн бұрын
Rofl, yup.

I personally would not do a high pressure pump without new lines . Liability is the key. Brake lines normally don’t cause fires but a pump with gasoline over a hot engine 🚒

You're right, that's a great point to think about!
