I have been taking Juice a Plus for 5 months and I LOVE it. I have/had arthritis in my toes, fingers and knees. I could barely walk because of the lack of bending in my toes. Well I can bend my toes! The nodes on my fingers are almost gone. My knees don’t hurt anymore. I’ve lost 11 pounds without trying., my varicose veins are almost gone. I dream again while sleeping. My mood is always cheerful. I feel GREAT! only 5 months in, not bad as far as I am concerned. I don’t exercise because I needed back surgery which I just had 3 weeks ago. Excited for my future!

Juice Plus does not claim to prevent multiple diseases. As A Holistic doctor, plant-based nutritionist. I'm very impress with the product. I've seen great results for myself and others in my practice. Everyone has a positive different experience with Juice Plus. Do the research yourself. As a doctor, its common sense to know that fruits and vegetables are the best for humans. I haven't met one person who eats 30-33 different kinds of vegetables, fruits and berries. I do like juicing but its expensive, time consuming and you must drink it within 3 days. I'm my own doctor and I pay very close attention to my body and I can feel and see the difference since I've been on Juice Plus. Blessings

The body has a hard time using isolated vitamins. It's like having the nails to build your house, but no hammer. Whole food supplements contain all the other phytonutrients the body needs in order to process those "vitamins". There is evidence that isolated, lab-created vitamins do damage to the body.

I gained 20 lbs in 2 months while training and eating salads! Everyone said it was muscle, but it was not.....I was diagnosed with hypothyroid. Went back on JP and believe going off hurt my health but I didn't learn my lesson. Last winter I went off for 3 months and a cold turned to walking pneumonia. I am confident it helps my immunity system beyond a doubt! I'm on JP for good. I just did the Shred10 and feel amazing. I have lost 15 lbs since going back on JP 3 years ago. Its not a weight loss pill but when health issues arise, it helped me become healthier and happier.

I am 68 yrs old, and I started taking JP+ 5 yrs ago. At that time, I was in the absolute worst condition of my life. I won't bore you with all the details, but I had several autoimmune diseases including Lupus. I had zero energy, and was sleeping 12-18 hrs a day. I also had high cholesterol and was taking statins. I was also a HUGE skeptic. I decided to give JP+ a try for 4 months. Within 3 months, my Lupus inflammation markers were normal and my cholesterol was normal. That happened by ONLY adding JP+ to my diet. After that I started making diet changes. The crazy thing was that the diet change was easier than ever before. I attribute that to training my gut (via JP+) to crave fruits and vegetables. Long story short...I am off ALL medications for my Lupus and cholesterol, and have been for the past 5 yrs. My quality of life is better than ever. Do I attribute all this to JP+...ABSOLUTELY. I am a LIFER. Thanks for the video and the opportunity to share my story.

It is harvested at peak and is “better” than organic since testing is more frequent and thorough from seed to harvest, and again as finished product. Even if the pills do their thing, if you eat junk food, you're going to deal with the consequences inevitably! That is most people's problem...they want to take a Pill "quick fix" and continue an unhealthy lifestyle. You can't eat a crappy diet and take supplements and think they will cancel out the bad diet. They are meant to supplement a healthy whole-foods diet in order to get the right amount of veggies/fruits because most of us can not consume that much in a day. Eat healthy, exercise, get plenty of water and supplement where your diet is lacking with good products that have been lab tested.

@overageist6 жыл бұрын
Yes but many companies fund their own research. Is that really a valid reason why it is not legit?
@dpasquito5 жыл бұрын
All funding comes from two sources - the public or private sector. Public money is influenced by lobby groups and private money comes from industry, interest groups, etc. The potential for bias exists in all catalysts for research and you are kidding yourself if you think otherwise. What we have to question is the methods by which the 3rd party (universities, etc.) does the research - peer-review, randomized, double-blind controlled, and longitudinal data. JP has initiated a breadth of studies - qualitative, quantitative, and has been very up front about which are peer-reviewed, randomized, double-blind controlled, etc. A lot of the research is very positive and the premise is strong. For our family, we have had no (and I mean no) allergies in the last 3 years. It does not take the place of eating responsibly, proper hydration, sufficient exercise and sleep and while JP is not going to regenerate the growth of a missing limb or raise someone from the dead, it yields a boatload of health benefits and definitely helps to bridge the gap that exists in all of our diets. That is all JP has ever claimed to do.

Look I’m a big time sceptic, when I first heard of juice plus I just laughed, but then the more I looked into multi vitamins etc that pharmacy’s sell but our body can’t even digest properly etc, so I thought I’ll give it a go. I didn’t change anything but just took these pills, took about a month and a half before I started feeling any diffrent I definitely started to be able to wake up easier in the mornings, hangovers didn’t hit me near as hard, I felt like I wasn’t dieing halfway during the days etc etc etc I stoped takeing it when I had a wisdom tooth out within a few weeks I just started feeling shit again etc and then a few months later started taking it again and once back on it felt great again. My partner cince taking it when she’s sick it’s never as bad as she would normally get her pregnancy while on it was amazing compared to constant issues with the first to etc and it’s promoted her to live healthier as well because she’s now spending money on her health

They need to do a blind study.. or (double blind). I've seen way too many reviews on all natural products...and like you said.. theres NO WAY to tell if THIS PRODUCT is exactly the thing that's making you feel better. Is it positive thinking/placebo effect? Is it environmental changes? Theres no way of knowing for sure unless a blind study is done.

Can you take these while pregnant? Thank you

Most providers ( except obstetricians). will refuse to recommend anything while pregnant. Bu these are just dried fruit & veggies.

Thank you for your courage and frank discussion of these products. I hear ads regularly and the associated endorsement most recently Mark Gastineau who used to play football who suffers many football related maladies. Your testing of this product clearly shows your quest for the truth and support for your readers. Thank you!

One of the greatest writing aids, especially for a Southern man like yourself, is Bookers Bourbon. Seems to help with the inspiration; at least it seems so at the time. You can also get your message out on Linked In. As far as I know, there are no PrevMed folks out there. If you check out say, Ray Dalio, the hedge fund meister, he promotes his book "Principles" to all who follow. I think if you talk to the marketing folks on Linked In they will explain how it's done. A good friend and mentor of mine, General Mike Hall, did the same for his books. You have something a great number of young and old professionals need to know; the key to living well is not just about earning money, but getting, being, and staying in good health. Another angle is the alternative media sites like Vice News, The Intercept, and The Nation. The angle there is preventative medicine helps one avoid the health care system, particularly catastrophic response, intervention, recovery and maintenance costs. It is counter to the mainstream docs who stump for the insurance and big pharma. These media sites are all about counter-mainstream. It's tough to get a break.
