Hidden Service Menu for Ford Focus MK2 | C-MAX | Kuga - board computer self-diagnosis mode | DTC

In this "How To" video I will explain how you can access the on-board computer self-diagnosis mode (also called hidden menu) of the Ford Focus MK2, Ford C-MAX MK1 & Ford Kuga MK1 and the meaning of each menu item. The procedure is the same for facelift and forefacelift, only the service menu structure can vary slightly. Example based on a Ford Focus II Facelift on-board computer. Anleitung ist gut und sauber erklärt Mein Auto, ford focus mk2 bj 2008, hatte vorhin eine blinkende MKL und laut selbstdiagnose zeigt er keinen Speicher an. Somit taugt dies überhaupt nichts. Es bleibt der teure Gang in die Werkstatt um den fehlspeicher auslesen zu lassen

Hallo Carolin, ist soweit richtig, nicht alle Fehler werden dort abgelegt. Ein teurer Gang in die Werkstatt muss allerdings auch nicht sein. Lesegeräte gibt es meist hinterhergeschmissen. Kannst auch gerne mal eines meiner ForScan Videos anschauen, insofern du den Aufwand betreiben möchtest. Grüße

Hallo, beim Menüpunkt "Chimer module" wird der Tongenerator getestet, daher muss dort ein Warnton kommen. Diesbezüglich also alles in Ordnung. Wegen der Motorstörung würde ich mal in die Werkstatt fahren oder wenigstes den Fehlerspeicher professionell auslesen lassen.

Hello, can you give me the exact error code? Already measured the fuses? Normally, a dead battery or a proper bypass of the battery should not limit the functionality. However, diffuse error codes can be caused by undervoltage.

hi, tengo un fiesta 2014 con sync 1, pero las funciones del sync dejaron de funcionar, solo puedo conectar el teléfono a veces, ya no puedo conectar el USB ni usar el bluetooth ni con los botones ni con comando de voz, las funciones ya no aparecen en la pantalla, solo están disponibles las funciones para el teléfono, con el comando de voz intenta parece que se va a conectar al USB o al bluetooth pero desaparece y regresa al radio, ya intente actualizar el sistema con las instrucciones de la pagina de ford y no puedo hacer la actualización, ya reinicié el sistema de fabrica, ya desconecte el fusible del sync y nada, espero que me puedas ayudar, no se que tengo que hacer, saludos

Ho la stessa auto ma diesel. Dopo il primo test mi rimane la spia dell'immobilizer accesa. Una volta si è spenta dopo averla riaccesa. Però ora neanche con quello si spegne

Ciao, ho avuto lo stesso fenomeno prima. Ho ripetuto il test, poi la lampada si è spenta di nuovo. in caso di emergenza, basta scollegare la batteria, ma questo non dovrebbe essere necessario.

Hello fesocan, the error often appears if the battery is / was too weak. as long as the vehicle does not cause any problems, you can ignore the error.

Hello, the faults indicate an electronic or mechanical fault on the EGR valve (exhaust gas recirculation valve). This also causes the engine malfunction message. So I would search in this area and consult a workshop if necessary.

@@htbo you see the problem is not a cell phone but radio itself whenever I push the button phone on the radio the radio says automatically it is muted and I cant even find my car when I look for it on bluetooth connections

the "phone" symbol in green (accept call) and red (hang up) is actually the mute button for radios without bluetooth module. since i assume that you have already connected your phone to the radio in the past, there might be a module or software error. which vehicle do you own exactly?

ford installed the bluetooth modules seperately for an extra charge, so the radios all look the same. in your (as well as my) case you will not own a bluetooth radio. so the "phone" buttons are only good for muting.

Habe leider keinen Code. Er zeigt nur Motorstörung, reduzierte Beschleunigung und ESP Leuchte leuchtet permanent. Er reduziert die Geschwindigkeit. Sorry, habe deine Nachricht übersehen. Hallo, die Fehler bedeuten folgendes: E510 "Missing or invalid security data to PCM" D900 - CAN Bus - Communication fault Alles Fehler die nichts aussagen, da sie z.b. bei schwacher Batterie hinterlegt werden. Nach kurzer Recherche könnte beispielsweise ein Raddrehzahlsensor defekt sein. Einfach mal "E510 D900" (ohne ") bei der Suchmaschine deiner Wahl eingeben, da erscheinen dann viele mögliche Lösungsansätze zu deinem Problem.

Das bedeutet nichts anderes als dass die Kommunikation durch z.b. niedriger Spannung intern unterbrochen wurde. Das ist kein richtiger Fehlercode und kann gerne mal bei zu niedriger Batteriespannung angezeigt werden. Daher ignorieren.
