i might get the euro accord sedan, so that is why i am watching these videos haha, its the one with the white line taillights, cuz that is standard for european honda accord, imo i think they look the best out of all 3; US, euro and coupe.

I own this car. If you are looking to buy. Here’s my advice, after 180,000 you will need to replaced MAPs sensor for proper idol function, clean air intake pipes, replace EVAP system at 200,100 miles, Your rotors and shocks will be going bad so make sure to replace or fix those eventually at 250,000. I would recommend replacing speakers in the front. Oil changes and driving this car how it wants to drive will keep it running a long time. I’m having issues with mine, but it goes up to a year with no issues and it’s now 19 years old. Definitely a great first car.

How long have you had your 2002 Accord?
@zoomiesRMS3 жыл бұрын
Really wild you bring this up because I was actually planning on getting an 02' EX Coupe 3.0L for 700 bucks, it's got 230k miles and it's having cooling issues and a bad idle. I'm sure some stuff is up with that MAP. Easy fix hopefully as well as cleaning them tiny ass radiator hoses
@HerculeanTV3 жыл бұрын
@@fordmustang98guy for about 3 years now. but I know a few people with similar issues at over 250k miles. Mine has 187k, Maps, Maf sensor replacement should fix idol issue, back brake calipers and pads can cause vibration as well if they aren’t replaced. Honda’s usually won’t over heat bc the cooling systems are super good!
@HerculeanTV3 жыл бұрын
@@zoomiesRMS At over 200k you should be fine, however, here’s a few things to check. honda fuel lines are made of metal and will rust in northern climates around 150k miles. I got mine replaced with rubber bc the car wouldn’t start, Replace front and back brake calipers and rotors as they bend and warp after a while. Replace Maps/Maf sensor to fix idol, most honda’s have a great cooling system so if it’s overheating that’s a big issue. 700 is a good price for this car as it’s really a 2002 sports car. Be prepared to spend another 1-2k on it within the first couple years as it is old. Mine has been very reliable other than some normal time things.

I love this car very much particularly in coupe and my favorite part of this vehicle is the taillights which reminds me of the NSX 🥲

I went from a 2006 Ford Taurus to a 2010 V6 Accord .It was like a night and day difference. The Taurus started having serious problems around 70k miles ( bad cylinder) and died at 90k. My Accord has nearly 126k on it and only issue was an alternator needing replacement
@fordmustang98guy4 жыл бұрын
Linda Easley the Older Taurus’s were completely Garbage like your 2006 particular style their under powerful 3.0 L V6 definitely not a fast car when did you buy your Taurus in what year?

why is there duct tape over some warning lamps?
@lindaeasley43364 жыл бұрын
Probably the Check Engine lamp which typically goes on and off with many vehicles for no reason .I know several people who own different vehicles that have that problem . My car's engine light periodically goes on and off and it recently had a diagnostic test that found nothing wrong

austin h one thing I learned is that a Honda is a reliable car so if it ain’t broke don’t fix it 😂 payed 3,000 to have every thing wrong fixed and the auto guy was like this car fixed will last you five years and after all that he didn’t check the alternator so now it’s just sitting till I can find a way to fix it 🤦🏾♀️Like I’m really happy to have the ac fixed but can’t drive the car and I’m moving to always cold Michigan .

Paris Weaver yea I hear ya. Just have to change oil, coolant and timing belt water pump cam seals. Other than that. Keeps on running.
