Jos tappi sieltä takaa irti/poikki se rikkoo sen kalvon. Voitele moottori öljyllä ja puhdista jousia ym. Mahdollisimman paljon. Öljyä lopuksi kaikki ja pajalle tippa kannulla hanhenjalka reikään asti. Sitten ylimääräinen löpö tulee siitä pois.

Hi, when you were putting it back together, you said the second plate had to be finger tight, and then i think you said just for demonstration purposes? Sould it still be finger tight or if not how tight should it be? Not trying to corner you or anything but i thoght it would be best if i asked before i do mine Cheers from wales.

Me chamo Giovanni, possuo um fordson major, sou do Rio Grande do Sul (Brasil), estou reformando meu trator, porém estou com dificuldades pois não tenho material didático em português, gostaria de saber se é possível para o senhor ativar legenda dos seus vídeos para o português, sempre que possível estou acompanhando seus vídeos mesmo que por intuição da prática mecânica, desde já agradeço.

Hi from NZ, last time I tried to start mine it went straight to full revs with no accelerator control. I have begun pulling the injector pump apart and noticed a small tear in the rubber diaphragm - just wondering if this is likely to be the cause ? Accelerator assembly and air intake passages are fine. Keep up the great videos cheers

Also worth noting, I ran it out of fuel the last time I had it running before this happened

Nice video. Last time I started my Super Major she went to full revs and I got no response from the throttle lever or the cut off cable. I stopped her by closing the fuel off. I’m told it’s due to a vacuum leak in the diaphragm. Would that be right? Great channel 👍🏻

That could be one cause, the other worth checking is the level of oil in the air cleaner oil bath pan. Thanks for the support and have fun fixing your fordson!

@@fixingfordsonsaustralia6632 It turned out to be some rust on the regulator rod in the injector pump stopping it moving properly. Once the rust was removed and the rod freed up she’s running well again 👍🏻

Hey my friend is having trouble starting is fordson he says it cranks well and he has tried to prime it and bleed it do you have a video of how to check the fuel system when it won't start
