After a recent issue with air getting into my fuel lines it's time to bleed the diesel fuel system to remove the trapped air and get the Fordson running as usual.

Nice work mate, looks like a couple of those bleed bolts are fairly rounded off, bloody shifters. The Donk ticks over very sweetly. Also Mate still hanging out for a video on rim spacing/setting to give a wider track.cheers.

Another great video thanks. Wonder if you have a video of a strip down of a majors disc breaks. Struggling to remove mine once the case is open. 😊

Nice video, thanks for the information. I removed the fuel pump on my Fordson Major for cleaning, and when i reattached it i don't know if i got it on quiet right. Would it be possible to mount it wrong with the shaft that goes inside the tractor? The tractor is running and i can drive around with no problems and i am able to manually pump to bleed the system out of air.

I see its a vacuum governor injector pump. Is it the 40hp engine or the 60hp engine?

Never mind. Saw the injector pump number on the door so know wat hp it is now.

Hey mate, I have a 51 Fordson major and I'm having air coming into the fuel line. What do you recommend fault finding? Should I do the oring on the tap and is there a gasket under where the fuel pump attaches to tractor? I think there is a bit of fuel leak there and it might be the problem. Any advice would be great thank you!

You can purchase a fuel pump repair kit that includes new gaskets, seals etc. Air was getting into my system from the fuel tap, the O ring on the tap had perished.
