I've never ploughed, so please excuse this stupid question. I see the tractor steering hard over to one side, does the plough pull the machine over and out of a straight line, so needing the steering away angle?

It’s a way to keep the plough furrow straight, if you have the plough set up correctly you don’t have to steer a lot of the time.
