I LOVE this channel. Her technique is perfect. She doesn’t squeeze too hard or stab too hard when not needed. At the same time she squeezed hard enough and gets all the contents out. I think this is my favorite acne channel. Great job! 👏

@Cecelia Tkach Well, A. The vast majority of these were NOT whiteheads, B. This is NOT the US and their methods in Vietnam are just as effective as treating and healing these skin conditions (any of the scars you are seeing are NOT from the blade, but are from untreated acne) C. In the US we are MUCH more dependent on pharmaceutical treatments for a number of reasons. People in Vietnam would never be able to afford to see a dermatologist, much less afford the medications. It is one thing to point out the difference in methods between cultures, but to think that you know it all because the US has a certain standard is beyond assumptive and plain rude. I have been a medical esthetician in the US for over 20 years, and I have also studied the techniques used in the East. BOTH methods work, and Thuy has succuessfully treated some very complex acne conditions and healed them beautifully with very minimal scarring. Her videos are a testament to that for anyone to see.

It is very overwhelming. My cystic acne would burst at random times and drip blood and contents under just a bit of pressure. Ruined many shirts that way. Sometimes with the hidden you don’t see it . It is super overwhelming though

I didn't know you could get scars from just leaving them, I have always popped my pimples but recently this year I finally got my acne to settle. I use a gentle salicylic acid face wash and acid serums to put on my face after the shower, take breaks from makeup and don't skip out on applying serums. I'd be happy to tell you what I use if you're curious

95% of these blackheads could have been cleanly extracted simply by applying gentle pressure at the base of the pore. This technician (like several others) is far too attached to the needle. Puncturing facial skin is always a bad idea. It can lead to infection, bleeding, and permanent scars.

Is anyone able to explain to me why a few blemishes in an area are dealt with, then SEVERAL are skipped over and a different area started? To me it would be more logical to clear one area at a time, then move on to the adjacent area. It would also be waaay easier for the camera to keep up. 🤷‍♀️
