First of all we find some fine folks that call the Lord’s Day, the Sabbath Day, which to them is Saturday. Then there are the others who call the Lord’s Day, Sunday, the first day of the week. But how could it be either of these days, or even the two put together, for John was in the Spirit receiving those visions for a period of two years. Actually what had happened was that John was caught up in the Spirit and transported into the Lord’s Day, which is yet to come. The Bible speaks of the Day of the Lord which is to be in the future, and John is now seeing the things of that future day. But in the meantime, just to settle our minds, let us find out exactly what the Sabbath is today. The Sabbath, as we know it from the New Testament, is NOT the keeping of a certain day. We have no command whatsoever to keep Saturday for a Sabbath, nor do we have any commandment to keep the first day of the week, which is Sunday. Here is the truth of the Sabbath, which means “rest.” Hebrews 4:8-10, “For if Jesus had given them rest (or rest day), then would He not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest (Sabbath-keeping) to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His.” Did you hear that key phrase in the last part of the verse? “God ceased from His own works.” God gave Israel the seventh day for their Sabbath, in commemoration of His own work wherein He created the world and all that was therein, and then stopped creating. He ceased from His labors. He rested. Now it was fine to give a Sabbath rest to a people who were all in one place at one time, so they could all keep a certain day. Today half the world is in light while the other half is in darkness, so it wouldn’t work at all. But that is just an argument from the natural. Let’s see what the Bible teaches us about this Sabbath rest. “For he that is entered into his rest.” This entering in is not only entering in, but remaining in, the rest. It is an “eternal rest” of which the seventh day is but a type. “Seven” is completion. “Eight” is the “first” day again. Jesus’ resurrection was in the first day of the week, giving us eternal life and eternal Sabbath rest. Thus we see why God could not give us any one certain day of the week as a Sabbath (rest). Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me;…and ye shall find rest (or keeping of the Sabbath, not a day, but eternal life, Sabbath) unto your souls.” No matter how long you have been laboring under your load of sin, whether it is ten years, thirty years or fifty years, or longer, come with your tired weary life and you will find His rest (the true Sabbath). Jesus will give you rest. Now exactly what is that rest that Jesus will give? Isaiah 28:8-12, “For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean. Whom shall He teach knowledge? and whom shall He make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: for with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people. And it came to pass about 700 years later at Pentecost when they were all filled with the Holy Ghost exactly as it was said they would be. This is the true Sabbath that was promised. Thus when they were filled with the Holy Ghost they ceased from their worldly works, their worldly doings, their evil ways. The Holy Ghost took charge of their lives. They entered into rest. There is your rest. That is your Sabbath. It is not a day, nor a year, but the eternity of being filled and blessed in the Holy Spirit. It is you ceasing, and God doing. Those verses are saying that carrying out the normal way of life such having to buy or sell, you would have to have the “Mark of the Wild Beast.” That symbolic mark identifies those who are supporters of the world’s political system. True Christians must be loyal to God’s Kingdom only!

The Mark is disobedience to the clear Command of God to “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy....”. When God’s people stand firmly on this command, while others are giving their allegiance to the authorities who insist on Sunday worship, Then the Mark of the beast will be evident. It is not a physical Mark, but a spiritual one. Those who purpose in their heart to obey the Lord God, even when persecuted “for righteousness sake,” will be sealed with God’s seal, protected from the seven last plagues, and be ready to meet the Lord in the air. We must give our whole mind, heart and spiritual life to “Worship God”🙏🏼❤️

The Sunday law will actually become a legal issue. That is how we will See it happen and know the Mark and Seal. People of God, do Not be afraid of what man can do to us, however. Trust in the Lord God, and He will give us a courage and strength we cannot imagine possible, if we remain faithful to Him. The Holy Spirit will teach us all we need know as we study the Word daily. Sure it works with buy and sell. Those who keep the commandments of God will not be allowed to buy or sell. Gods people will be commandment keepers Rev 12:17. The government will force a Sunday worship law, if you do not worship on Sunday, but keep God's commandment Sabbath (Saturday), they will penalize you by shutting off your debit card and credit cards and bank account. All religions and groups will go along with the national Sunday law even atheists because the government will be closing everything to help save energy and the planet. Atheists will have their own groups, that's why you take the mark on head or hand, you believe it or just go along with it because it's law. It's all there in the Bible, there's much more to tell. The end is coming very soon.

The goat blood was literal blood which stood for the literal blood that Jesus literally shed. If you are covered by the blood of Jesus, you will keep his commandments and be saved (John 14:15). But if we are covered by the blood it is not a literal covering of blood. It's all in the Bible.

Hey pastor when it came to not being able to buy or sell I went to Joseph during the famine in Egypt. Pharaoh made Joseph his right hand gave him the signet ring and the decree that nobody could could lift a hand without Joseph’s approval, so I interpret this mark as being the same as authority or permission that comes from the right hand or head. So I considered when else we wasn’t allowed to buy or sell without permission and I said definately during covid lockdown, then I asked myself who the right hand was to enforce that and the answer was WHO! World health organisation So I think we’ve experienced this part already. Now we’re somewhere around the bear (Russia) and the leopard tanks we’ve been sending over there so I’m counting 3.5yrs from the first day of lockdown in wushan

I'm not an SDA but appreciate you and many things in your teachings. ♥ However, I must say that if the mark of the beast as described in Revelation does not include any physical aspect to it as you believe scripture confirms, I am unable to see how this is compatible with not being allowed to buy and sell without receiving this mark? This additional "no buy or sell" factor of a mark in the Bible is unprecedented to my knowledge from the earlier mark-related scriptures you have pointed out. In other words, how could not being permitted to buy or sell be globally enforced merely by judging people's thoughts and actions without a physical measuring aspect? Will it soon be that anyone who merely won't verbally deny Christ or who goes to church will be penalized by not being permitted to participate in buying or selling? This to me doesn't seem practically plausible and enforceable on a large global scale. I believe rather that Christians are going to be made to look like they are against the greater good by not receiving a physical/spiritual/soulish mark that is purportedly FOR the greater good. Therefore they will be persecuted, hated, and killed for not receiving the mark as scripture tell us will happen. The reality of today that is undeniably clear is that the globalist's goal is 100% global surveillance via AI-run Blockchain technology. Look at China today. Even Western-based globalists have praised China's surveillance system. Additionally, the age of digital currency is here and the day of 100% digital currency is quickly approaching with the impending global economic reset. If it wasn't for the buying and selling element in scripture, I would agreeably interpret the mark of the beast as you're doing here using these earlier biblical scriptures as the plumbline. Recall that Jesus said that these end days will be a time like no other has ever been and never will be again. Therefore I believe during this unprecedented this time, the mark of the beast will uniquely be comprised of a mark having spiritual, soulish, and physical elements to it whether it be an inoculation containing a tracking tech chip, or a patch containing this tracking tech, among other nefarious ingredients. These technologies already exist and are being used. Most globalists are also transhumanists with the goal of merging man with machines and AI. Consider the AI Metaverse and Omniverse. Look at Elon Musk's neural brain-computer interface company. Musk is also involved with vaccines if you do some digging. Virtually the entire world is already connected to their phones. And this is just the first step, a gateway if you will, to all of this tech ultimately entering inside the body. Globalist Yuval Noah Harari already says publically and unashamedly that "we now have the ability to hack the human being and this is the goal and that it's good (see Isaiah 5:20). These globalist transhumanists won't succeed ultimately Praise God but it is their active agenda. I don't think these are "zany ideas" Pastor Doug with all respect. Look at and read Microsoft's patent WO2020060606 about the wireless tech inside the body as related to the new economic system that is already planned and soon I believe to be rolled out. Notice the 666 in the patent. Look at the Bills HR666 as well as HR6666. It's all public for those with eyes to see. We are told that it is wisdom and understanding is given to those who calculate the number of man 666 in Revelation 13:18. I am obeying this mandate and being given understanding as I look at these patents and bills and see the plans of the globalists, the writing on the wall. Consider that when people are connected to the grid via wireless tracking tech, their thoughts become controlled to some degree. Therefore we do agree on this aspect. This physical mark of the beast is or will be affecting people's thoughts, actions, and decisions hence the spiritual and soulish aspect as well as the physical aspect I've described and provided evidence for. People with this mark will be led to fall away from being able to repent and follow the ten commandments. They will be worshiping the Beast in other words and unable to resist because they were deceived or gave themselves over to being controlled by the beast. Could it be that at some point in the future, if a person rejects receiving this tracking tech in their bodies, they will be locked out of buying and selling within the impending new all-digital economic system when the Great Reset finally happens? May They continue to bless you and yours mightily, Mr. Doug Batchelor. :) The Bible and Revelation are crystal clear that the forehead and hands (the mark goes in both hands, Revelation 13, 14 & 20) are not literal because Revelation was signified (chapter 1). Signify means sign or symbol. Yet, what's astounding and illogical is many think the mark, the forehead and hand are literal, but the beast isn't (like it's a nation or a person). Yet, if the mark is literal, then so is the beast and the sea it rises from; and as you shared, there isn't going to be a woman in the last days with a literal whole paragraph in her forehead. The Bible is clear that forehead is equated with what we think (Hebrews 10) and the hands are equated with our works or actions (Ecclesiastes 2, 1 Thessalonians 4).

As the gentleman shared here, think of the mark of the beast "test run" we have witnessed with the Covid planned pandemic. Many were mandated (i.e. forced) to get a Covid vaccine or lose their jobs (i.e. they wouldn't be able to buy or sell). The majority of employers knew who was vaccinated and who wasn't because all employees had to show a literal document showing their vaccination status to their Human Resources staff; and unless employees requested and were approved a medical or religious exemption to that vaccine, they were terminated if they didn't get vaccinated. Likewise, at the mark of the beast issue, paper money will be eliminated (the only way for Satan to control all buying and selling is to make every transaction electronic). It's clear we are quickly moving to a digital currency as we speak. Thus, if you and I choose to not comply with the mark (because we received the seal of God; that's the spiritual component), we'll go to use our debit "smart" card one day and it will be declined; and it's declined because we didn't "file paperwork" with certain "financial institutions" to remain in "good standing" with the mark of the beast "law of the land."

Those that didn't, wern't aloud to work and participate in society. They were mocked and abused and in extreme cases received the death penalty for not pledging allegiance to Caesar. Revelation speaks of Godʼs seal and the Mark of the Beast. One is the counterpart of the other. The mark of the beast is the counterfeit of Godʼs seal, mark or sign [Seals - Read on Rev 7]. As Godʼs seal is not a literal mark neither is the beastʼs mark. Many things may serve as a sign or mark: The Lord calls His Sabbaths a sign distinguishing His people from the heathen. [Exo 31:13; Eze 20:12; Eze 20:20]. The word “sign” [H226] means a distinguishing mark. Such a mark is not a physical object but it is a mark of identification nevertheless. To receive the mark is a sin and sin is the breaking of Godʼs law [1 John 3:4]. The specification that the mark is received in the “RIGHT hand” indicates symbolism because if the mark were literal it could be taken in either hand. The hand is symbolic of work [Ecc 9:10]. The right hand is symbolic of “fellowship” [Gal 2:9] and those who take the mark will show their fellowship with the beast. The forehead is symbolic of the mind or will [Eze 3:9]. In Ezekiel 9 a marking occurs which is clearly symbolic [See Eze 9-10. Eze 10:2 esp. shows that this is symbolic]. Note that this mark was a sign to preserve the faithful from the destruction that followed. When someone receives the mark of the beast, they do so, knowing what they’re doing - worshipping the beast - and rejecting the God of the Bible. [Rev 14:11, 19; 19:20; 20:4]. The primary factor involved with the mark is *worship.* After the warning against the worship of the beast and his image the prophecy declares: "Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Since those who keep God's commandments are thus placed in contrast with those that worship the beast and his image and receive his mark, it follows that the keeping of God's law, on the one hand, and its violation, on the other, will make the distinction between the worshipers of God and the worshipers of the beast. The special characteristic of the beast, and therefore of his image, is the breaking of God's commandments. Says Daniel, of the little horn, the papacy: "He shall think to change times and the law." Daniel 7:25, R.V. And Paul styled the same power the "man of sin," who was to exalt himself above God. One prophecy is a complement of the other. Only by changing God's law could the papacy exalt itself above God; whoever should understandingly keep the law as thus changed would be giving supreme honor to that power by which the change was made. Such an act of obedience to papal laws would be a mark of allegiance to the pope in the place of God. The papacy has attempted to change the law of God. The second commandment, forbidding image worship, has been dropped from the law, and the fourth commandment has been so changed as to authorize the observance of the first instead of the seventh day as the Sabbath. But papists urge, as a reason for omitting the second commandment, that it is unnecessary, being included in the first, and that they are giving the law exactly as God designed it to be understood. This cannot be the change foretold by the prophet. An intentional, deliberate change is presented: *"He will speak against the Most High* and oppress his holy people and try to *change the set times and the laws."* These changes exactly fulfill this prophecy. For this the only authority claimed is that of the church. Here the papal power openly sets itself above God. As the sign of the authority of the Catholic Church, papist writers cite "the very act of changing the Sabbath into Sunday, which Protestants allow of; . . . because by keeping Sunday, they acknowledge the church's power to ordain feasts, and to command them under sin."--Henry Tuberville, An Abridgment of the Christian Doctrine, page 58. What then is the change of the Sabbath, but the sign, or mark, of the authority of the Roman Church--"the mark of the beast"? The Roman Church has not relinquished her claim to supremacy; and when the world and the Protestant churches accept a sabbath of her doing, while they reject the Bible Sabbath, they virtually admit this assumption. They may claim the authority of tradition and of the Fathers for the change; but in so doing they ignore the very principle which separates them from Rome--that "the Bible, and the Bible only, is the religion of Protestants." The papist can see that they are deceiving themselves, willingly closing their eyes to the facts in the case. As the movement for Sunday enforcement gains favor, he rejoices, feeling assured that it will eventually bring the whole Protestant world under the banner of Rome. The Papacy has been restored to worldwide pre-eminence can be refuted by none. All the world is wondering after [admiring] the Pope of Rome; not every individual of course, that will never be, but worldwide his admirers are multitudinous. These admirers are not limited to Roman Catholics but include Protestants in large numbers, many who practice non-Christian religions, some who practice no religion, and many political leaders of the world. The wound is now so well healed that even the scar is no longer visible. The first beast of Revelation 13 is the Papacy. No other power fits the numerous criteria.
