Which course are you looking at? It all comes down to the course and the kind of support the institution can provide. Also, a factor to consider is the living cost of the location of the institution. For example, Hamilton can be a lot cheaper than Auckland.

Edison P Joy Not entirely sure about the course contents, but does it have a practical component? Like an internship or work placement? Would be ideal opportunities for networking. Might also be wise to look at industry reports and skill shortage lists to see if it is a course that offers an easy pathway to job opportunities.

@youmeandzee32254 жыл бұрын
Hi Floriya! Thank you for your comment. The best way to find out if a course has scope here is to look at the NZ government’s long term and short term skill shortage list. If what you are studying towards features on the list then it means there is a shortage of people who have studied that course and so you are more likely to find a job. Hope this helps.

Hi Mam, Thank you so much for this video.. clearly gives a good idea about the campus.. we are planning to move there and was trying to get an idea about the university..Great job. If I may, just had a query of which is a better course in your opinion 'international Management- 120 points' or 'Master of Management studies- 120 points' considering tht I have experience in Administration and Procurement.
@youmeandzee32254 жыл бұрын
Hi Sherin! Thank you for your comment. Quality of life wise, New Zealand is a great place to live in. People here are much closer to nature and live without many frills and fancies. As for the Masters programs you are looking at, both the courses are similar in terms of course content and cover more or less the same subjects, even though the topics might vary. However, I think you should know that management is a very competitive field here and the job prospects currently are not very strong. I would advice you to look at the skill shortage list on the immigration’s website and pick a course that covers the skill shortage to increase you chances of finding jobs here. Hope this helps!
@sherinkoshy10294 жыл бұрын
@@youmeandzee3225 Thank you soo much mam for the reply. Thtat seems really helpful to get advice from a person whos experiencing things first hand. Actually we are looking to move to place which is closer to nature and peaceful and found that NZ is a perfect fit. However the challenge is to find the entry pathway into the country. If I may, do you think specific masters like supply management/ marketing management has a better scope than just a general management course.

Hi Mam, Category 1 colllege il thane padikkano ... for getting stay back for 3 yrs
@youmeandzee32255 жыл бұрын
Hi! Please check the immigration website for authentic details. From my understanding, level of course is the main criteria for three year post study visa. As such level 7 or more (grad diploma/bachelors) are available at main polytechnics and university. Category 1 colleges are the most legit ones here, but I’ve been told category 2 is also valid. Again, please check the immigration website for a detailed break down. Good luck with your study.

Hello Suja, there are many colleges and universities throughout NZ that offer the courses you like. The universities will be more expensive than the college and more difficult to get into as well. Two of the main institutions that offer your courses here in Hamilton are University of Waikato and Wintec. I would suggest that you check their websites and that will detail the entry criteria and cost of the course. That way you can compare and see which is the best fit for you. Please keep in mind that currently the NZ borders are closed and that they are not accepting international students into the country. Hopefully, they will open the borders soon, but there is no confirmation of that as of yet. :)
