Caregivers from other countries may get residency sooner than expected.
Immigration Minister Marc Miller introduced a program this week, that will give eligible caregivers from abroad permanent residency status upon arrival.
The program is expected to help address the demand for caregivers in this country, and also protect new arrivals from abuse and exploitation while they're living and working in Canada.
CPAC’s Michael Serapio discusses this new initiative with Minister Miller.
They also discuss where Ottawa is now with the Gaza reunification program and if the identities of parliamentarians who allegedly aided in foreign interference should be disclosed.
