If plan to adventure the across country, it's a good idea to rent, or buy if you stay long term. Either a car or a bike. There are lots of places to visit scattered across the country. Train or Grab will not do justice. You will be lock down to the big cities only. If you are a content creator, get a car or a bike. Too many content from the same location. Need new content, need to venture out. And get a Touch N Go card. Very very important. There was a youtuber got stuck at the tol because have no card.

Hiii, Yee that is totally true man. It Also happend to us that we we`re stuck on the toll road because our Touch N Go card didnt had enough on it (was our first day on a rental car) Thankgod there were some nice locals who gave me there card at the toll and helped us 🙏🙏

need a car here in Malaysia, even my household we have 3 cars..very car dependant country but with a car even a bike you have freedom to go anywhere you want

@@ahwai82 yee a car is really necessary here. We did try the bikes but we felt very unsafe here in the heavy car traffic. (We are used to driving bikes in Asia but Malaysia was a bit different)

@@HDtravelstories riding bike here in Malaysia not exactly safe, people drive and ride like maniac here. Im from Penang i know because Penang probably have the most aggressive driver in whole country. To survive driving here dont be afraid be a little rude not to extend cut people off but a little its fine as most people would give you a honk and move on. Just be more alert with bikes, they can be anywhere anytime even from place you dont expect them to be. But most of the time drive like a normal person its fine. Have fun and enjoy the cheap fuel here.

yeee that is true kenny, We had a schock with it and thought we we`re being scammed at first So we saw a car online and went out to check it at the dealer but the car was 2K more than online and we didnt expected that (Haha thought we were getting scammed there)) butt it turned out to be true with all the additionol fees etc

Hyundai ATOS? Its hard to maintain it and it always breakdown easily. Spare parts hard to find. Please buy 1st model Perodua Myvi. Easily get around RM 10k, cheap to maintain and of course spare parts are every where. And that Myvi save fuels..!

HIII Dave haha I wish I didn't know that, we already got the car now for 1 month and have driver around the 2xxxkm already so sofar so good. Haha let's hope that we are lucky with it. (Only need to last for 6 months ) 😅

Not sure if you know but the average car to rent is about the 2k for a month and some people also have pets like us and a lot of rental company don't like that. And used cars are a lot cheaper if they last then a rental car. Also less Hassel
