I apologize for jumping in ahead but having seen this video many times the scene with the men carrying the steel beams (lyrics "feels like the world upon my shoulders") is powerful and scary. Back in the day construction workers used to do that stuff, walking steel beams to build skyscrapers without the benefit of much in the way of safety belts. It's appropriate to the feeling of this song. I'm also a little bit afraid of heights so I hope that was the magic of video. To the benefit of an absolutely *fantastic song* :)

The lyrics hit hard! This might be the thinking Christ had before going forth with his teachings. There is a rich man today that is hated for loving us as well. He takes on the whole rotten system and they hit him with all they got and still he stands strong. He could just give up and go have a happy life but he can`t do that because he knows the system will makes us all unhappy. So he fights them. He stares them straight in the eye and says you have to go through me if you want to hurt them. Turns out that God is behind him so all they do falls to ruin. You see it with your own eyes.
