The Irish have been known as immigrants for hundreds of years. Our ancestors often had a difficult time, for instance those who immigrated into America, and the residents of countries hated them, protested against 'bloody Irish immigrants' and treated them very badly. When a modern day Irish person is racist against immigrants into Ireland, they are behaving like the ignorant bigots who gave our ancestors such a hard time. They are betraying our Irish ancestors. There's a great poem by music star Imelda May which sums up this situation. You can see and hear it on KZbin. The poem is called, You Don't Get To Be Racist and Irish.

Those Irish immigrants where more often then not expelled from the own land , and when they arrived they weren't helped by any governments there was no free hotels no benefits no NGOs to drive their entry , But do gooders like you and Imelda push this narrative on the rest of us like reverse discrimination, Ireland belongs to the IRISH, there will always be natives that know and fully understand the true history of Eire not what a blow in Johnston would have you believe or a deranged plastic Dub for that matter

You mean on coffin ships and when they reached there were giving NOTHING and had to work hard or even enslaved in some cases,at the moment what is happening in Ireland is a mass invasion where the Native Irish will become a minority in a matter of tears if mass deportation programs are not enforced by a Pro Irish Nationalist Government,our Ancestors would turn in their grave reading your weak comment making up excuse as to why the Irish people should become a minority in their own Motherland,pathetic smh
