Takes a trained voice to do this good of a job on this song. The tenor's high C on the chorus is a challenge for most but Kelly hits it at full chest voice . Very nicely done.

You only love once, it's worth any amount of money to experience what we want to before we die, otherwise you will never have the chance. I have to agree with a few others that this guy does sound very good on this song and actually does have a much stronger voice and sound performing this particular song than Lou himself...I'm not trying to take away anything from Lou but he has even admitted many times and quoted himself as saying that he was never able to sing this song as well as he did in the original cut recorded in the studio which is of course the one you hear in the song recording itself. It's been known that he always had a hard time with it and when performing it live he would usually sing the-- " I've been waiting..."-- part a bit lower or even sing that verse differently than what is heard in the original recording obviously because it is difficult for him to sound exactly like the recording. Many artists do this since it's so hard to sound just like the recorded material. The story Lou told more than once is that-- he was struggling a bit in the studio after several takes when recording it until he saw a very beautiful girl walk into the control room while he was in the middle of recording vocals and he had no idea who she was but he was so mesmerized by her that when he started to sing it again he sang it as if she was the actual person he was singing it to and the emotion and passion he felt--which can actually be heard in the song was so real and intense that it ended up being the best one he had done and after that perfect take-she left and he never saw her again but always wondered who she was...That is supposedly a true story and I think was also told by Mick Jones as well. It certainly is a great story no doubt and can be found if you look around for it. To me, this guy here does it very nicely in my opinion and therefore it helps a bit in capturing the essence of the original sound. Very few of the great bands of the 70's and 80's still performing today are able to duplicate their original sound when performing live since many of them obviously no longer consists of the original members anymore but even if they are all of the original members it still is very difficult to sound like the recording when doing a live show and usually I suppose it depends on raw talent and how good their sound guy is...but that's just my opinion.
