Howdy fellas! And older Texan, retired U.S. military, living in the P.I. for the last 8 yrs. My wife and I have been together for 16 yrs. I had to go back and forth for work for a long time, as, as that time (and Covid), they wouldn't give her a Visa. I retired for good in 2016. Living here now. Took her to the States, to Hong Kong, to Japan, and a few other places. I have a very laid-back, easy life here. No stress and no rat race like so many places. My wife still is the epitome of a "pretty Filipina:", with very long, silky black hair, a beautiful face, nice figure, etc...(that's all you need to know!). Food, such as fresh fish, fresh poultry, fresh pork and cow, fresh fruit and veggies, come by the front of our house DAILY! Straight from the source, as they say. HOW can you beat all that? And, the ocean is just 200 yards away, but blocked by a large row of big trees that block down the wind. Hard to be better!

I speak conte, mostly taglish, am not fluent, but I understand a lot more than I can talk. My wife speaks to me quite a bit daily in Tagalog.

In the Philippines, we share the food not the plate. Buffet style especially during festival. Unlike some in East Asia, 1 large piece of chicken for 3-5 people (and it's not because of being poor or stingy). Thank you for your RV. I love Japan and Mana! Also, D & J

Fun fact. Philippines is the go to place of most students coming from India, South Korea and Japan. Most of them take up medicine or dentistry courses and when they graduate some of them practice their degree in the US.

Yes, that's right! There are many Africans too. They prefer to study dentistry in the PH because it is cheaper here. In a university in Cavite there are so many of them. Some of these Africans have you tube channels too. I guess the most famous is Tugue Zombie (not his real name) from Nigeria. Currently, he has 4.2M followers on Facebook and 1.4M followers on tiktok. He became a host in a noontime show on TV and was included in a film. He's been in the country for 8 years.

Well i guess the reason why foreign people usually notice filipinas aside from their beauty is that, we are also known for being loving and family oriented person .. which most foreign men also like about us filipinas 😅 in the world where couples easily consider divorce, here in Philippines, filipinas always tries to save relationship everytime instead of giving up on it easily. But yeah, we also have these negative sides on us like other countries do .. but overall, i guess Philippines is still a nice country to live 😊❤

CEBU is quite popular amongst Japanese as a tourist destination. The province is known for its beaches..practically from North to South. Plus, most of English schools are situated near beach resorts. Badian, Cebu is known for Canyoneering, if you are into it.... Oslob,Cebu for whale shark watching and diving with Sardines... Bantayan Island,Cebu for its white sand beach ( little Boracay) and still so many beaches/seas all around the province. ..and Bohol is just a 2-hr ferry ride..you could easily hop in and enjoy EcoTourism. By the way, Panglao Island is also famous in Bohol. Delicacy to try: 1) Cebu - Dried Mangoes, Otap, LECHON (roasted pig) 2) Bohol - Peanut Kisses ( sweets) God bless! 😊

In the Philippines, if you are a foreigner, you are warmly welcomed with open arms, even invite you to a feast. But most importantly two Mr. The don'ts if you want to go to the Philippines, Philippines is an open country a lot of criminals and bad people from other country use Philippines as there hiding place, there are people use the character of Filipino like welcoming and friendly be aware , be wise and be attentive don't trust easily, mostly if someone talk about money, book online the trusted online booking, bookings cars, prefer if you travel commute so that you will see the beauty and reality of Philippines but don't bring things that expensive and more money because there are also thief and rubbers be aware of that, don't go to the crowd people where everyone are very near to each other and you bring wallet or valuable things like jewelry.. prefer go to the tourist place or in provinces because mostly of the people there are kind and hospitable .. just don't bring or show you carry valuable things and money since your a vlogger that's understandable and very aware of every culture of every provinces because they are some few differences.. over all people are warm and kind mostly hospitable ,. And mostly if you show respect each culture of each places you go. Goodluck hoping you still visit the Philippines.
