I'm craving now for lomi. 🥺 It is one of the comfort food that is famous all over the province of Batangas. Every restaurant or eatery that serves lomi has its own variety when it comes to toppings, and it really makes it a lot more mouth watering 🤤

Hey guys, glad you liked Lomi Batangas. The Lomi Batangas is very different from other Lomi you will get in other parts of the Philippines. Lomi Batangas has noodles made in San Nicolas, Batangas. second, the broth is made from the liquid they boil all the meats in (others use knorr cubes). Third, Lomi Batangas is just meat, noodles and broth (others have vegies, chicken, and shrimps added). fourth, the broth is thickened with cassava starch (others use cornstarch). the right way to eat it is to first make a sawsawan of sili, onions, calamansi, and soy sauce in a small dish. Take a little bit of this in your spoon and dip it into the lomi then grab a spoonful of the noodles, meat, and broth, and eat. i'll be spending the weekend in Batangas and im going to make sure ill have lomi batangas

that was included in our itinerary when we were supposed to have a trip March of this year. but suddenly, due to covid, Lipa ordered lockdown, they were the first few who had city lockdown. we had no choice but to cancel our booking, the trip and all.. up til now we're still hesitant on going places, thanks to your vlogs, we still get to see other places. perfect rainy day food it is! hope u guys are all safe, take care!

Lomi in Batangas, Bulalo in Cavite, When you gonna visit cebu, MUST TRY BALBACUA tho. This food "BALBACUA" is really unique from what you have tasted above. Coz this one is made of different spices combine to Ox Tail or Ox Skin.

As a Filipino, I always crave for the ordinary lomi. Cravings stems from the longingness for the thickness of the warm soup and the taste of the noodles. The home cook Loni. . Any variation will no doubt improve the taste but nothing beats the ordinary, original, andl plain lomi. I am glad that towards the end Nelly made a short commentary about the lomi noodles.

Lomi best serve while its hot is the comfort food during cold and rainy season, adding Lechon kawali & home made Kikiam and some vegies like sliced carrots & cabbage are the best, Nelly eating the Lomi on right thing adding soy -sauce, calamansi, chili & some onion makes the Lomi taste more appetizing. Yumm Lolz.

I agree the best lomi is in Lipa. My favorite restaurant though is the 3 kids lomi house. I'm not sure if the restaurant is still in business though. I can finish 1 or 2 of those big bowls in one sitting depending if it is before or after our game in lasalle lipa

Don't forget to visit Taal my hometown since you are already in batangas. There are many places you can see and food to taste. I suggest see Basilica of St. Martin, old houses that built during Spaniard colonization, house of Marcela agoncillo who made Philippine flag but also don't forget to try delicious food like tapang Taal and longanisa (Jayson and malou meatshop they are my brother in laws) , adobo sa dilaw, sinaimg na tulingan. Sweet delicacies like suman, panutsa and many more . I'm sure you will enjoy your stay there
