Forensic Community Service (FCS)

The FCS provides care and treatment for adults who have a history of offending and/or pose a risk to others.
The primary aims of the FCS are to provide in-reach into secure in-patients to work towards discharge, to reduce length of stay in secure beds, reduce re-admission and provide an ongoing service in the community using interventions based on NHS England’s ’12 components of Care’, a biopsychosocial model.
