As the series went on, narrator Peter Thomas who was 84 when this was made became more dramatic in his narrations than in the first five or six seasons. Like all the others he delivers nicely here. A talent that will be very hard to find ever again.

True crime series today just aren't what they used to be, Forensic Files, Unsolved Mysteries, etc. There's a reason people continue watching them despite a lot of it being kinda dated. Of course that's just my opinion and could be me getting old / too nostalgic lol.

So I'd set the smoke on my amp, guitar case, etc. After a few years of doing that to my equipment, bandmates started identifying my stuff by the siggyret burns. Next thing I know they started refering to me as Siggy Retburns

But , like Page, I sand all my necks down to slim depth and unstained so I can feel the wood. Soletimes I rub a little linseed oil on them. My Ibanez Premium is the only guitar I own where I never touched the neck to change it at all. Most of my guitars are strat body and neck, and all have different pickups. If the authorities hadn't double checked, he would have been a prime suspect in the rapes, but because evidence always overrides each other and is redudant, something like that was avoided.

Even after the investigator drew attention to the can in his hand by telling him not to spill it in the trash can, he still left the can. I think that’s pretty dumb. Instead of calling him smart, I’d just say he’s just a game player.

Ever since FilmRise has taken over, they're starting to insert ads into some of these episodes. One of the worst ones is The Blood Trail, which is a really low volume episode, with jarringly loud adverts in it. While it was shown under the Medical Detectives badge it was completely commercial free.

It might have to do with ethnicity. white guys usually get a few years for murder, hispanics get life behind bars & black fellows... capital punishment. I fall asleep after watching several episodes at bedtime. Before I had watched all of them, I would wake up in middle of night on occasion and watch an episode. They use to play all night (after midnight) on Headline News Channel with my cable provider so that is when I started falling asleep to them.

Why didn’t they do the blood tests like they do urine tests for substance abusers? They only allow one person in the room at a time. They even do the urine test with the door open so they can’t pour someone else’s urine into the vial, etc. They probably should have had a guard that was familiar with the prisoners.

I believe it is a jail where people await trial, so there are people coming and going all the time. It would not be easy to get to know the prisoners that intimately as a guard. The fingerprint on the vial was a safeguard for an event like this and it worked.

I thought I’ve seen every episode of Forensic Files but what a pleasant surprise to see one I haven’t seen. When Chad came up on the couple I thought of the movie “Crash”.

What a sick sadistic murderer. He humiliated and degraded his victims. Once caught he almost got away with it. He and another inmate switched arm bands but the dna on the soda can and the fact that he had a gold tooth sealed his fate. I hope the victims find peace after what they endured at the hands of this evil monster. He got the sentence he deserved.

Law should permit authorities to take a mouth swab of suspects. No need of creeping behind them & collecting mountsin dew cans.🤦

the cops and prison staff: this criminal is no match for our expert work and attention to detail! 3 seconds later: yeah we got accidentally got the wrong blood because our staff will let any inmate from volunteer for the important dna sample

They are in prison too long. We need them work and earn and pay for prison services. Rather than collector workers and businesses tax.

I am surprised how chad, the rapist, overllooked the fact that his golden tooth was visible in the mask mouth hole opening. But good thing he did overlook after all. In hindsight, it might not be the DNA , but the golden tooth which helped catch the culprit.
