Never cried more at a silly little superhero show. Never expected to cry when I started it. But man, what a great show and WHAT a great performance from Chloe, especially in that scene.

I personally would have added a few others. Some don't directly foreshadow the name but gives a hint to who she is in the comics. In episode 2, she mentions that she should be team captain. In episode 18, "Agents of Nothing" is said twice. Both hints towards the Secret Warriors, Daisy's team in the comics. There are also minor connections that Skye & the comic Daisy have in the season 1 that also hints to who is. (Story similarities): in the pilot: Skye steals from Mike, she is taken in by SHIELD to be interrogated, she is given a job as "consultant". In episode 5, Coulson starts to help Skye learn about her parents. Even the reveal that St. Agnes Orphanage gave her name "Mary Sue Poots" has a connection to the comics. In the comics: Daisy steals a CD, she is taken in by SHIELD to be interrogated (by Fury not Coulson), Fury gives her a job & he tells Daisy about her parentage. As for her name change, she was given the name Cory Sutter by her foster parents. Now for a very minor connection: in episode 3 (I believe), Skye mention she was a high school dropout. In the comics, Daisy was failing out of school.

My god. The foreshadowing in this show is just…🤌🏼🤌🏼 especially in seasons 1-2, when they had it all planned out. Obvs the twists continued but it’s clear the show runners had planned for “Skye” to become “Daisy” from the very beginning. Also, THANK YOU for pointing out the “Daisy’s Bell” aspect. I would have never caught onto that. I don’t think most others would either. Which is what makes it so, so brilliant.
