Do you think coffee would work for dyeing? I can't afford actual dye

You can't use it on synthetic fabrics tho, so make sure u use cotton or other natural fabrics

Yes it would :)

coffee and tea are stains rather than dye, and will fade over time but it will stop blinding whites from being so white if you want to keep the colour longer, there are ways to balance the fading with acids (i think tea can be balanced with vinegar?)

It might what i also like to do is diluted acrylic paint. So its alot of water with some acrylic paint. It isnt usually as dark and you have to rinse a few times so that the fabric isnt super stiff
