Just bought one of these and it has to be the best £20.00 I've spent in a long time. It makes sawing logs a a whole lot safer than using your foot to keep the wood in place ! It realy is as easy as the vid shows

I have the FM spikes that just knock into the ground. I'm female and 5'8" and I find the base of the stand isn't quite high enough for me - is there a particular reason it's made so low? I'm using it in a high peat based soil with solid bedrock areas and rocks 6" below the surface so it has to be hammered in quite a way to be stable.
