Funeral. They have had a wide range of styles over their career, I think outta the full releases this is most comparable to From These Wounds. The song This Barren Skin is a masterpiece.

amidst a forest of shadows swept in thorns and songs of farewell i felt an echo of a glorious time gently whispering my name as if knowing of my demise as if guiding me away from the torments of my loss towards that which i seek one final glimpse of her smile and so i followed and arrived at the shore of a silent lake where i beheld a starlit silhouette of somehow familiar features it was her, my love and life staring into the night and awaiting my advent i called out her name and she unfolded her funeral face with eyes of radiant sorrow that pierced my blissful stare a moment of joy turned to dust as she spoke her final sigh and left me shattered and alone amidst a forest of shadows swept in thorns and songs of farewell

Its a shame because the emotive hardcore scene was great. Bands like Embraced and Rites of Spring have gone criminally unnoticed compared to the bands people typically associate with the label emo.

Emo has nothing to do with "emotion." Emo, has become a lifestyle, but it derived from the hardcore scene from Washington D.C. in the 80s, early 90s. Not sure when ppl started thinking it stood for emotional.

Well, in fact if you think about this musically, it could be named Emo, because emo is a shortcut for emotions and doom is all about emotions, dark emotions... And it doesnt need to be a bad statement, unless you prefer to be listening to One Direction who doesnt have anything to talk about really feeling emotions and feeling your music.

Emo sounds like a word to describe emotion. Shouldn't all music, such as this, have emotion? Yet we don't call this emo. So, who cares. Like what you like. It doesn't matter. Genres are just words used to give people an idea of what it will sound like. Also, anyone who shys away from music with emotion for fear of being labeled as emo shows lack of confidence.
