It is an oral folk song known to have spread mainly in the Wonju region during the Donghak Peasant Revolution in 1894. It is known to honor Jeon Bong-jun, the leader of the Donghak Peasant Movement. Blue Bird Song is a true song handed down in connection with the Donghak Peasant Revolution. It is a song that laments the failure of the revolution and expresses the people's disappointment allegorically. In this song, Jeon Bong-jun symbolizes General Nokdu, the blue bird symbolizes the Japanese army, and General Cheongpo symbolizes the people of the time who supported the Donghak army.

I knew Forestella with this song! ❤❤👏🥺 While I watched this great and underrated historical kdrama that I loved (one of my favorites...❤ 24 chapters/ 48 of 30 min. quite faithful to the original story that focuses on the Peasant Donghak Revolution in 1894, just before the Japanese occupied Korea) this song every time it was played it caught my attention❤, even more so when I made the video about Nokdu for my blog where I write about kdramas 😅, I listened to it so many times that I fell in love 😂, especially with the voices 😮, so I researched who was singing and I was surprised to see that they were such young guys😮😮😮. I started watching videos and have been following them ever since❤❤❤. I googled it and it says it’s a tv series about a peasant rebellion with 2 brothers on opposite sides. And I will take a k drama any day over most western dramas. 😊thanks for reacting! I should listen to this one more often!

Obrigada por reagir a Forestella cantando Blue Bird, Blue Bird. A música é muito antiga foi cantada na vida real,durante a revolução camponesa , ela foi recatada pelo Forestella,justamente porque o Kdrama aborda essa revolução camponesa, e também o início da invasão japonesa na Coreia.

Because kdramas are usually only 1 season Koreans put a lot of production value into each series so that it feels like an epic movie. Several yrs have passed between Nokdu Flower and Arthdal Chronicles Sword of Aramun and Forestella is still amazing as ever.

K Dramas are epic, and the acting and quality are amazing. There is another one they do, I can't remember the name, even more amazing. Maybe the actors aren't paid so ridiculously as the US

녹두꽃은 전봉준이라는 사람을 말한다 "새야 새야 파랑새야 녹두밭에 앉지마라 녹두꽃이 떨이지면 청포장수 울고간다" 동학농민운동의 선봉자 전봉준이 죽으면 우리 농민들도 슬퍼하고 좌절한다는 의미를 가지고있습니다
