Going to see how this fairs on the FS560C clearing saw. Cheaper, and easier to sharpen than the chisel tooth blades.

I have the fs240r with handle bars... so far love it... about to order one of those blades.. i have the stihl brand saw blade and its alright but appears like it struggles a little more than that blade

Will this work on an electric?

Nope. I checked. Lowest end gasser model you can try is a Stihl FS 56 series. I went with an FS 70 for more power. If you do a hack job on an electric you can fry the motor as they aren't designed to deal with heavy duty stuff.

so whats the difference between this on a clearing saw and a 240 or 260? they both have similar power on paper (but very different prices)

The 260 will set you behind mega bucks; also has the double handle bars as well as anti vibration systems. As far as power, they are almost equal, not really notable when using the 240/260. I hate the handle bar units. They suck! Hey, feel free to buy me one. Lol. Thanks for watching.
