Couple news from the Greekfather's greek media. Marinakis is linked to Sao Paolo , supposedly is working on a deal of helping Sao Paolo promote their players to Europe. Francois Modesto left Monza, couple days after Souloukou was hired. These two have worked together in the past and Modesto already looking for players in the French Market . From these two news i expect France and Brazil to be the main target for the transfer window

We don't need to sell, and why would anyone want to leave right now? I can't see anyone wanting to leave while we have ECL possibilities. We just need to buy a player or two to consolidate what we have. As for Wood. I'd give him a raise, and 3/4 years for transfer reasons. For now though. Players definitely stalling it, he probably wouldn't of signed if we put a plus one in last year's contract. I believe aina is very happy at Forest and Nuno is key here, he seems to have a magic wand, I've never seen a squad so happy, even the players that aren't playing are happy. I think aina signs a 1 to 2 year.

Wolfie, as a Kiwi I find it hard to believe Woody would leave Forest to go to AC Milan. It'd be nothing more than a CV move and is potentially career ending if his form doesn't carry across. Am I the only one who doesnt care about players leaving? It's a disaster if players go in January but Marinakis isnt going to do that and so if they leave in the Summer then we just replace them, dont we? Players come and go. I'd be more worried about losing Nuno than any player tbh. People said Johnson couldnt be replaced and he was. Back in the day people said we couldnt replace Antonio or Assombalonga and we did - players come and go and our recruitment has been top notch, so trust the club to have a plan if players leave

Not having new contracts for players with only 6 months left on their contracts is pure stupidity. Woods value may well be less than Aina but letting either let alone both go for free would be unforgivable. It doesn’t matter if the rumours you mentioned have any truth or not. Yuri Alberto surely has to be signed in Jan… Signing Aina would make me very happy and really don’t want him going to 115 (they’re the team I dislike the most behind Derby)

Its not wages. Its contract length. He wants to play at the top level for as long as he can. Hes pushing for a 4 or 5 year contract. Thats his goal. So if anybody offers him that length of contract he will leave. He siad it in an interview in new zealand with our media when he was here last year he want to play as long as possible at the highest level he can get.
