Forestry Mulcher on a Tractor

Unfortunately these things just aren't there yet for tractors. The tree you did here would of been just as easy to push over with the loader. They don't mulch as good as the skid steer or excavator ones do and really the biggest stuff you can take down with them isn't much bigger than what you can do with a flail mower. They're a lot of money for something that really doesn't perform as good as you'd expect. Tractors just don't have enough hydraulic flow for even the smaller ones to put on a loader. Maybe some day they will get there but I think you're better off just pushing most of this stuff over and/or using a flail on the 2" or less stuff.

I highly recommend you check out the full video on my channel. You’ll come to find out this was the first time I ran the equipment. Jumping in at full speed the first time you run something is just asking for trouble.

Care to elaborate? If you manage expectations and understand it’s on a tractor, it’s not a mulching head on a 100hp track loader, I think you’d change your mind
