Foresty Forest is a channel owned by a Canadian social media influencer and content creator operating on KZbin known as Simon lamberts he is popular among people who like when life adventures, 4x4 stealth van build, fat bike to run, or just simply cooking inside his minivan.
I mean all of this might sound outlandish to people who don't watch channels under this niche. But it can be a great way to relieve stress and just lay back a bit from your daily routine. Like before being on youtube, Simon used to work 10 hours a day for six days a week on a shift making only 500 dollars just to pay the rent living in a room in the basement along with two other people sharing the space. He is suspected to be somewhere around 35 to 40 years old and he has an estimated net worth of about a million dollars.
He has received a lot of praise from other KZbinrs in the same niche. KZbinrs like Hannah Lee Duggan, Mavrik Joos, and Hobo Ahle appreciate his hard work and video editing skills.
There is no doubt that he is the type of guy who likes to live in the present and a minimal lifestyle takes a lot of things out leaving only the things that he needs to focus on. His videos feature serene locations like Mt. Steton or Mt. King George. He mainly documents his life living in a van and hiking through terrains but if you ask me I like Moresty Forest, his other channel more as it has raw unedited, candid footage which helps you capture the essence of the sport.
His drone footage is awesome too! But living in a van isn't easy. It might look picturesque on KZbin but there are bad parts to it too like for example his van getting a reduced engine power which made it hard for the van to climb steep hills. Last year in a video he discussed how his van was getting worse over time.
Vehicle problems can be very stressful and when you're living in it, it can get pretty hard Simon has built all of it from the ground up and so I could feel his pain through the video. Anyway, it's a stepping stone and we all grow through that. More power to you Simon. Anyway, I really enjoy the hikes and I am sure you do too.
Simon does not care about high grade equipment, looking ravishing, well, you're trekking you don't want to look like Brad Pitt while you're on it unless you're seven years in Tibet but then he does not care about money either. All he ever wants is to be in peace and just venture out to different locations and we're in for the ride.
