I think that the one thing as viewers we tend not to think about or give enough appreciation to with these videos is the amount of work that goes into the video work. Setting up the cameras, getting the best angles, multitasking with the camera while doing other things. It can't be easy and just wanted to say we appreciate it all you do for us to get to see these videos! You do great work!

I filmed so many episodes on my road trip across America I was getting carpal tunnel in my left hand, the one that carries the tripod... it has taken almost 2 months for it to heal.

@@jeterman29ny Ironcially enough Alone is filmed on Vancouver Island which is where most of my hiking videos, about 75, were filmed. It's beautiful but can be a very harsh environment.

I had Rocco’s identical twin Jack Russell for 20 years, she passed away this June. Lived such a long, well lived life. My Franny was the love of my life. It is surreal to see your dog in your videos. My heart jumps every time.

Had a Jack Russell for 18 years. He was about one year old when he walked up our front porch steps. So thankful no one showed to claim him. I've always been told we can count our true friends on the fingers of one hand. Poochie is included among these best friends!

Every time I see Rocko in a video I just can't help grinning. Such a happy dog. I was dubious when you first started talking about getting a dog. I didn't think it would work with your lifestyle. But it seems to be working perfectly. And the videos definitely benefit from her presence.

I think a good middle ground would be to take a few pieces of firewood, that way you can get the stove going asap, while gathering more. Insane that you were able to lift all that up there. You are a machine.

Not free but there are hundreds of forest service cabins and lookouts you can rent for cheap in the US. Hiked in to a hunting outpost built in 1924 in the Rockies eastern front for a week this past year for like 30/night.

"Cubic Mini is the Gateway Drug to woodstoves" 😁 Staying warm n cozy sure helps too! I pray it was worth the suffering! I keep thinking a snowmobile with a skiboose for your chainsaw and gear. A sled would be second best - maybe use a harness (like roofers wear) over the shoulders and hook in back. Tie a rope to sled to harness? You could store it like you do with Mtn bike if hiking farther up 🙂 Sitting in AZ feeling nostalgic thinking back to doing winter sports and stuff. Be safe, give scritches to the girl and will wait patiently for your next episode.
