I was heavy hauling through Montana around 25yrs ago, must have been 40 Angels passed me up on their way to Sturgis. I hung my arm out the window and gave them all a fist pump and a thumbs up. They ALL gave it back with great big smiles, one of the 'ol lady's' even flashed me, made this loggers day ! 😎

I live the square life and I will say there is no denying Sonny Barger's impact as an American icon and popular culture. Sonny Barger was as American as apple pie,Levi's jeans , Clint Eastwood movies and spaghetti westerns , Coca Cola , Jack Daniels you name it . Sonny had more of a postive impact on American culture than people realise .After what my late mother told me about Joe Kennedy Snr and what he did to her generation of Brits during WW2 and his own family I would have Sonny Barger over the Kennedy family any day . I have learned also that the bad guys dont necesarily wear leathers with patches and ride loud motorcycles . They wear collars , ties and suits and are elected by people. They see it fit to rewardthemselves with exhorbedant salaries and give themselves knighthoods at the end of their elected time. All of this whilst doing very little in the process except lining their own pockets with good people's money .
