Perfect explanation of the toxic burden in our products and the implications they can have on our bodies, Lisa ! You were spot-on about what we put on our skin and how easily it gets absorbed internally. I had a dermatologist tell me the steroid cream I had been prescribed for a scalp issue was not causing skin thinning or eye issues. He said it was impossible to enter the body and cause symptoms. I said” if that was true, Dr, why do medical practitioners prescribe transdermal patches to deliver systemic medication??” Needless to say he had no answer and the appointment ended very quickly. It is so important what we put on our body, take into our body, and with what we surround our body. Most disease and illness is triggered by lifestyle and environment. I am so happy you recognize this and educate your community to be aware and proactive. As always, I am grateful for your wisdom and your gift. Namaste-Judi🍑❤️🙏🏻🌺

Great video! After 20 years of going in for pedicures and gel nails, I stopped 5 months ago. I was not only sick from smelling the chemicals, but also the grinding on my nail beds and my fingers burning under the curing lamps. I enjoy doing my own pedis/manis now, and love how healthy all my nails are becoming. 🤗

This message needs to be heard and shared! I found out about the dangerous chemicals in nail polish right before I had my daughter. I have never painted my fingernails with it since then. My daughter will be 22 on Wednesday! I have beautiful, strong, healthy, pink nails that I love. Easy to care for. The beautiful thing is that there are non-toxic options available now (I have found some decent ones from Whole Foods and some organic and health food stores). No Miss and Mineral Fusion come to mind. I will do my toenails, only with the non-toxic polishes (I'm sure "none" is the best choice but I do live at the beach and like my toenails to have pretty color. Also, toenails last way longer than fingernails ;) Something else I heard recently was about the UV lights they use to dry or set the (gel?) polish. Turns out, my daughter had one of those and when I told her they have been found to be dangerous (I won't get into the specifics- you can research if you want more info), she stopped using it. She even said, "That makes sense." Wow! I was surprised....and so happy! Thanks for getting the word out, Lisa- :) Lisa H.

Hi Lisa you make a lot of sense. I haven't used foundation on my face for years. Ive started using castor oil 2 months ago and i love it for my skin. I was going to do a self tanning this summer but you've convinced me not too. Although i love having a tan Ive decided to not put it on my skin. Thank you for your channel i listen to them a lot. Especially the castor oil ones. I don't use your skin care products as i cannot afford them but i use vaseline and castor oil on my skin. Thank you for your videos Lee

Health is #1 on my list. I'm so happy I've never worn foundation. Or sunscreen*. (Although NOW I know which one to use, thank you very much!) I also grew up in and around salons. I've never been able to handle "that smell" be it nail or hair products. I love playing Beauty Shop! But go try and find a nail salon that offers only natural manis and pedis. Each time I do my own, I think how nice it would be to go have this done. A real treat. I just got tired of trying to find a non-toxic salon. And then there's the 'misinformation skin care business'. OMG. So thank you, Lisa, for providing all that you do. It has helped me tremously. I may have to do my own nails but I KNOW I've got THE BEST skin care period. It's changed everything for me! 🫶🧡🍑💃

I've never worn makeup my entire life except for my wedding. I never wear foundation or concealer either. I do wear lip gloss and mascara on rare occasions. I wear sunscreen as needed! I'm 63 years young and have sagginess, lines, etc, only since I started doing face exercises/massages and Gua Sha one year ago when doing courses/classes with very well-known and experienced instructors. It is very frustrating and upsetting that I tried something natural, so innocently, and has caused these issues! Love your videos, keep spreading the word!

@@Angelbabs2023 Angel🍑 I don’t think it would be the massage because I massage and gua sha every single night and it’s more about the products you’re using. You need to think of them as food for your skin or things that just sit on top and create no cellular change. I appreciate you choosing to be here and I’m here if you need me 🙌🏻🧡🍑Lisa

@PeachesSkinCare I know it was the facial exercises/massages and Gua Sha. I've only used an all-natural skincare line that has won several awards. I've never had any sagginess, lines, or wrinkles until after starting the facial exercise/massage classes. When I stopped doing the facial routines it allowed my tissues to heal and I was advised from those instructors to stop doing them as well. They all agreed that it's likely my results were from doing those routines. Not all facial exercises/massages are for everyone!

@@Angelbabs2023 I believe you, I am just saying that I’ve worked with hundreds and hundreds of thousands of clients and not one has ever had an adverse result so I am very curious as to why that happened to you. We all have the same 42 muscles in our face and 43 with our neck and so yes, every workout is the same for everyone. It’s the same with the body. With absolute love and respect just because a skin care company has won an award does not mean it’s an excellent skin care product. Many awards are paid for and or given to the big brands, be mindful and always ask me if you have any questions🧡🍑🙌🏻Lisa

@PeachesSkinCare Thank you! I totally understand and I respect your opinion. Maybe, it also depends on the facial exercises/massages each instructor is teaching. I have done a lot of research after the fact and there is so much information and controversy out there! Possibly our age plays a factor when starting face yoga, Gua Sha, etc. I truly believe that their classes were not appropriate for me. Each exercise/massage needs to be performed in a specific sequence and correctly! Unless you have one-on-one training and the instructor can ensure you are doing the routine correctly, there is room for error. This is what I believe happened to me. I have become more of a minimalist now so I only use the all-natural skincare products randomly. They worked well up until I changed to skin sobering. I ❤️ how dedicated you are to helping us!

If I may chime in on this. This last point you make about proper technique is quite valid. When I started doing gua sha, I also had an adverse effect. I had a red spot on the top of my forehead and I was swollen after following a video. And I was using castor oil. I figured out my problem. First, I was holding the tool incorrectly and going at my face at the wrong angle AND I was applying way too much pressure. Instead of moving the lymph, I actually was backing it up into my face because I was going too hard. An Australian esthetician I know said it also helps to "anchor" your muscles with your free hand while you perform the movement with the other so you're not pulling excessively on the skin and underlying delicate muscle. Training is everything. The red spot on my forehead was actually a bruise! And I've learned to follow through with the drainage by using gua sha on my neck, upper back, chest to the armpits where your watershed is. This has helped tremendously as I am not doing just a half job and I'm being much more gentle. Training is everything as well as giving your body time to adjust.
