"I Will Always Love You" is Dolly's song, she wrote it and sang it first, so it's only fitting to have her end the video singing it. There was Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn, Alabama, Charlie Pride, Ronnie Milsap, the man sitting down at a table for a very short scene was Randy Travis, there was Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson, these are all giants of country music, and to an old fogey like me, real country, whereas most, not all, but most, especially what you hear on contemporary country these days, is just pop music with a cowboy hat. Most, not all, but most, of newer artists, to me, aren't country. I want to hear lyrics in my country music, and to feel something when I listen. I don't want to listen to music and strain and fail to understand the lyrics, that's what rock music is for. My 2 cents, and worth about what ya paid for it. Keep listening to country but try some of the older artists, it's a world of difference.

Hey Daryl, thanks for watching our video, I hope that you enjoyed it. Thanks for letting us know some of them artists that were feature. I completely get where your coming from in terms of the ‘older generation’ of country artists. We love Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn and Randy Travis! Some of there songs are timeless and I’m sure will live on in generations to come. I think just like most things in life that some thing change, some may agree or disagree for the better or worse. But the newer generation of country artists are now paving their own path whilst keeping their roots in the country music they would have grown up on. If you check out artists like Cody Johnson and Riley Green, then I think you’ll find some similarities to the royalty you listed above. But we will reaction to some of the old school artist, is there any songs/videos in particular you’d like to see? Also if you wouldn’t mind subscribing to our channel if you haven’t already Daryl, we really appreciate it. Many thanks again CountrifiedUK 🤠

She is an incredible artist and has an unbelievable voice. I’m not supposed it brings a tear to your eye, it’s amazing when an artist can touch people like that! Thanks for watching, hope you liked it and if you haven’t subscribe to our channel would you mind doing so 🤠

Legend on piano is Ronnie Milsap. He is amazing and fought like hell to get his songs played on country radio in the 70’s because of the electric guitars and his long hair. Please react to: Stranger in my House

I love when younger people say "back in the day...20 yrs ago" Realizing that was post 2000 now. You'll see as this goes on, we have artists from 50 yrs ago as well. At the time I paused to type this there has already been Randy Travis and Ronny Milsap to name a few pre 80's artists.

Country Roads - John Denver (RIP), I Will Always Love You - Dolly Parton, and On The Road Again - Willie Nelson. I think they picked the three perfect songs for this.

You guys are great. Speaking from my perspective as someone in their mid 50's that grew up with the original artists singing these on the radio, I can tell you the feeling I get is indescribable. One of your patrons replied that he can't hear the lyrics, but, I promise you, old dogs like me hear every word. It's very emotional for us older Americans seeing the world turn to sh*t.

I don't know why KZbin recommended your channel to me but I'm sure glad they did. I'm pleased to become your 149th subscriber. I was impressed with the names you already knew but a couple of the artists that you didn't name are George Strait and Martina McBride. If you don't know their music yet you should dive into their catalogs. Also, I hope you never stop singing along with the songs you know...it was charming. Now I'm going to go through your past videos and I'll be looking forward to your next. Keep up the great work guys!

Have you thought about doing any Home Free? We Home Fries will come! Man of Constant Sorrow is a great one to start with.
@wickamo2 жыл бұрын
That would have been cool for them to have all been together, however most were recorded and filmed separately and then edited together. Only a few of the duet pieces were recorded simultaneously. This song and video were produced for the celebration of the milestone of the 50th year of the CMA Awards and all proceeds from the sales went to music education promoted by the CMA Foundation. It was a collaboration of 30 artists including Randy Travis who didn't sing due to health issues but made a cameo appearance in the video.
